Placement Papers - Hexaware

Hi Folks,

I\'m Bakhtawar Siddique and this post is all about a fantastic experience during Hexaware interview conducted at GGITS. The written was conducted in a single go, comprising:

I) Aptitude, English &.
II) Essay on any topic of your choice.

The result for the same was announced at 5 pm and (by God\'s grace) I was shortlisted.

Next round was the GD round and here too the topic was of your choice i.e. Team work! and as usual express yourself in the best way you can. I was even shortlisted here.

Exactly after two days, interview was conducted where we were given certain programs to write and were asked to explain them during technical round.

TECHNICAL ROUND:

Me: May I come in Sir.

TR: Come in. (With a smile on his face).

TR: Which branch are you from?
Me: Electronics and Communication.

TR: Major and Minor projects?
Me: Explained.

TR: Is this code written by you correct? Will it run?
Me: (confidently) half of it is correct and the sorting part is wrong.

Then he checked the program.

TR: Convert decimal to Binary.
Me: Did so.

TR: Draw SR and JK flip-flops.
Me: Did it.

TR: Difference between zener and avalanche breakdown.
Me: explained.

TR: Types of memory in a computer.
Me: Explained.

HR ROUND:

HR: What is confidence?
Me: Explained.

HR: Confidence without knowledge. ? will it work?
Me: No sir. Its called over confidence.

HR: The coding done by you. Is it correct?
Me: The logic applied is correct perhaps I have skipped few steps.

HR: What will we say to the customer?
Me: Sir, the customer won\'t kill us. He will definitely give us a chance.

HR: (LOOKING AT ME WITH A SMILE. :) ) Forgiveness is divine. Am I right?
Me: yes Sir.

After two days, on my birthday, the result was declared ! And believe me. This was the best birthday gift I\'ve ever had.
