HCL Technologies Interview Experience - Chennai, February 16, 2014
The first round in HCL was through AMCAT online test conducted in Vels Engineering College on February 14.
The Aptitude Test consist of 4 sections,
1. English Language.
2. Logical Analysis.
3. Numerical Ability.
4. C Program.
You can these rounds if u go through Aptitude books and lot of preparations. My best guess would be IndiaBix.com.
Then after a day I recieved a mail in the afternoon that I have cleared the round and a Call Letter for the next round were attached to it.
On February 16th, I went to the College along me the were 900+ members waiting to attend the interview. We were splitted in batches, each batch consist of 50 members.
Outside the HR room we were waiting, the second round was Technical round.
Most of the questions were from my resume. He asked me certain questions in C and gave a paper and Pen.
He asked me to write a C program for Currency Conversion. After finishing the program he asked me to wait outside the room.
Here I waited for 2 minutes they told me that I have cleared the second round and go to the ground Floor for the next level which was certainly the HR round.
While waiting for the third round they called my name. I entered the room where a HR was waiting for me .
She first asked me to sign the terms and conditions before proceeding I read them and signed.
Then she asked me to give an introduction, then she asked about any arrears, then she asked the difference between Hard work and Smart work. That's all.
She said to leave for the day and told me that I would receive a feedback after 3 or 4 days.
Still waiting for the mail.
Guys please be confident before entering into the 2nd and 3rd Levels. Because your impressions carry the most of you.
Good Luck !
