Hii Guys,
I am Ganesh.
I received a interview letter from amcat for off campus in Gitam University for HCL technologies.
The following were the procedure for the placement :
1. AMCAT online test.
2. Technical Round.
3. HR Round.
1. On 14th july 2014 ...I had an online test on AMCAT in CMR college.
Amcat consists of 4 modules.
They are:
1. Basic Aptitude.
(Divisibility, HCF and LCM, Numbers, Decimal Fractions and Power, Profit and Loss, Simple and compound interest, Time,speed and distance, Logarithms, Permutations and Combinations, Probability).
2. Verbal Reasoning.
Coding " Decoding, Blood relations, Directional Sense, Objective Reasoning, Selection decision tables, Puzzles, Coding Pattern, Number series Pattern, Analogy,Logical word sufficiency, Data sufficiency.).
3. Verbal Ability.
(Synonyms, Antonyms, Tenses and Articles, Prepositions and Conjunctions, Speech and Voices, Literal Comprehension, Contextual Vocabulary, Comprehension Ordering.)
4. Technical Questions based on C,C++,java and Dbms(based on your Stream).
C language is must.
Nearly After a month i got my interview call letter i.e 12th august 2014.
Technical Round:-
1) Introduce yourself ?
2) Tell me about your Project ?
3) Your role in your project?
4) What are the challenges you faced in your project?
5) What is software process,Testing,Planning,SDLC,Waterfall Model?
6) What is Data Structure?
7) What is Bubble Sort & merge sort?(be thorough with the code and implementation)?
8) What is linked lists,types of linked lists?explain?
9) C program to Implement Bubble sort?
10) Queries in Sql like to find out a employee who gets highest salary?
11) Differences Between interface and abstract classes?
Results were announced in a couple of minutes.
I Cleared my technical round.
For Cse & IT streams-Be good in C&Data Structures,OOPS,DBMS skills.
For Non IT streams -Be good in your C&Data Structures.
Around 100 were selected from around 300 Students for HR round.
HR round:
1) Tell me your family Background?
2) Hobbies?
3) Why HCL?
4) Goals(Short term and long term)?
5) Willing to relocate or not?
6) Do you have any issues regarding the bond?
Result not declared yet?
No need to nervous be calm and confident.
