Placement Experience:
Hi, I am Avinav, final year Chemical Engineering Dept, NIT Durgapur. Exide is open only to boys in our college.
Round 1: Technical GD.
GD was based on a case study. For us, it was based on the design of a Nitric acid plant. We had to discuss the design parameters, safety parameters etc.
GD had 15 people in each group and it was among chemical guys only.
Round 2: Technical/HR PI.
The interview was based on a summer internship and your favourite subject. I had prepared well in Fluid mech heat transfer and also mass transfer.
I had my Questions on an internship as well as pump design and Heat exchanger design.
Some Questions on polymers and stuff.
HR Questions were common ones, like Tell us about yourself.
