Hello everyone,
I attended Evolphin campus drive on 19th Oct 2015. And as it was Hiring for first time we had no idea about its pattern.
Salary offered: 4.25 LPA.
Office: Gurgaon [Team of approx. 20 people].
Main Product: ZOOM [You can google it].
The Experience was quite exciting and good. It consisted of two rounds. The Exam will be 90 minutes.
1st round: An offline Paper.
I - Here you will face 8 quantitative questions which can be solved within 15 minutes if you have basic knowledge about topics such as Train, Clock, Speed & Time, Boats etc.
II - Now Comes the main part. Programming snippets and you have to find out the Error or what will be Output. 7 Questions. Language: JAVA and C++ Only.
III - Difficult part : 3 questions. Language to use: JAVA.
Write programs or just Logic or use Pseudo codes to explain. The question will be like.
1. Design a phone book using some data structure. That stores basic info about the user. Like number, name and location. You should able to delete, insert, and update the records.
2. What test cases will you use in a Home Group-like network? Where people can share their data. And when someone copies it in the homegroup, it gets automatically copied into another member's computer, and similar case in deletion.
From our college 450 students appear to give exam. After one day time. The first round result was declared. They Shortlisted 10 students. I was the one. Next Day.
Second round: Technical Interview.
This round goes on for 90-100 minutes. They will ask about project work. They will take you deeper and deeper into a single term you used over there. Most of the time you will be in Discussion mode. My suggestion is to clear all concepts of Java and revise all the algorithms you have learned. Don't go for new topics at that time.
After a week result was announced. They selected 4 students. And I was NOT the one.
Reason: I am still thinking :). I was sure that I will be selected. But Girls will always get preference.
