First of all, thanks IndiaBix because the day before my interview, I was reading an article on the interview, and it helped me a lot. So, I thought that I should also write about my experience.

My placement process for Ericsson was held in Bangalore, and it was a face-to-face assessment and interview. Ericsson usually has four rounds in their placement process, which are:

1) Aptitude test.
2) Technical Interview.
3) HR interview.
4) Documents verification.

The aptitude test was pretty simple, with three parts: logical reasoning, verbal, and finally quants. It was all simple, honestly; the only thing is we had to be fast, and there was no negative marking, so you could mark whatever your gut said when you didn't know the answer. Basically, in quants, there were age-based questions, trains, steam, SI, CI, profit loss, and mensuration. It was straightforward; if you practice a week before, you will clear it.

Then, coming to the reasoning, there were 2 seating arrangement questions, and based on that, one question had 3 sub-questions.

Finally, in English, there was a passage, synonyms, antonyms, sentence error, and jumble words. Every section contained 15 questions, and the total number of questions was 45.

After the assessment, the result was declared after 2 hours, and the assessment was also in person. The total number of students was 82, and only 38 were selected in the written.

After that, the Technical interview was held on the same day, and every student was divided into 6 groups. Each group was referred to a selected panel, meaning there were 6 panels, and they took interviews of only the 6 candidates.

My interviewer was very polite; he greeted me, introduced himself, and made me comfortable. He asked me to introduce myself. In my interests, it was photography, so he asked if I had an iPhone. I replied, "No, sir," and then he asked about a DSLR with a smile.

There were two members in my panel, and the questions were basically from the ECE branch, as I have done a diploma in ECE and BTech in IT.

Q: Different between 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G. Me: Answered.

Q: Wireless technology used. Me: Replied.

Q: What is wireless communication? Me: Answered, but in my answer, the words "antenna" and "mobile comm" came up, so the next question was about mobile comm, and I replied with that.

Q: Types of antenna. Me: In this, there are 3 types, but I forgot one of them. Then I mentioned that I couldn't recall.

Q: Modulation. Me: Answered with an example and also about demodulation; he was fully satisfied with my answer.

Q: Downloading speed of 2G and 3G and also technology used. Me: Answered.

Q: Types of modulation. Like this, they asked very simple questions: unit of power, GB and MB full form, convert MB into GB, about Excel, how to create a table in Excel.

Then I told them that this paper was in my diploma, and in BTech, it was IT, so I was asked about that too.

He: Do you know Python? Me: My language was Java, so I told him Java.

Then the question was only 3 with Java: Difference between List and ArrayList. This and static keyword with an example, meaning the use of code.

From me, they mostly asked about telecom, but in others, some are asking about projects and resume-based questions. After that, he asked: Q: Do you have any year gap? Yes, then why? Me: I had a gap because of corona. I replied, and he was fully satisfied.

Q: Do you have any questions? Me: How was my performance, any feedback? He: Your confidence was too high. Wait for the result, hope for the best. Me: Thank you, sir. Nice meeting with you. He: Same here.

After that, on the next day, I got an email for a virtual HR round (HR Interview), and in that, there were only 18 candidates selected for HR round after the technical round. It was the link to a Zoom meeting where every candidate joined, and the HR shared the link in the chat box and then called the name whose turn comes.

In the HR round, there were quite simple questions: Your qualification, do you have an offer letter, marks of 10th, Diploma, and Graduation (because criteria were above 65+ %), are you aware of the package, relocation, and very simple questions. It was only around 3 min.

Then, after one week, I got another email for document submission. In that, it was mentioned to submit Aadhar Card, Pan Card, Updated CV, Photo, and CIS sheet (Candidate Information Sheet). The CIS sheet was in the form of an Excel sheet on Thursday.

Finally, on Monday, I got the offer letter. I can't express my feelings, and the Date of Joining (DOJ) was after 15 days. But I don't know how many got selected after the HR round because I was online, but one of my friends didn't get selected in the HR round.

All the best to every single person reading this and appearing for the process. God Bless :)
If there are any mistakes, forgive me as I am writing this at night on January 23, 2024.
