Hello friends,

My name is Swarnadipa just passed B-Tech from GNIT Kolkata.

I am here to share my interview experience from Ericsson and also my placement journey.

My journey to placement is not a good one. But it is so scary and frustrating.

I have rejected in number of companies like Capgemini, Hexaware, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys and many more.

Still I didn\'t loose hope and keep on trying and trying. Guys my first tips to you that never loose hope and keep on trying until you reach your goal.

So coming to the Ericsson selection process.

There are 3 rounds.

- Online test.
- Technical interview.
- HR interview.

Coming to the online test:

The test is conducted by cocubes.

There are 3 sections quants, Verbals and reasoning and also be prepare that there is.

SECTIONAL CUTTOFF.

IndiaBix is more than enough to clear this section but you have to solve each and every question very fast.
And don\'t spend time on lengthy questions if you have time left then you try to solve those lengthy questions.

So I have cleared the online test after one week I got a mail that I am selected for interview.

Coming to the interview:

My interviewer asked me to introduce myself.
After that some technical questions based on my resume.
System and application software.
Operating system.
Software development life cycle.
Regarding my projects.
Name some OS.
Why windows are highly used that ubuntu and other OS.

And some Hr type questions:

Where do you see yourself in next five years.
Who inspires you the most.
What you will bring for the company.

Guys I am telling you that prepare your resume well you should know everything from your resume and apart from that please also prepare some of the basic questions of computer network like osi model and layers of OSI model etc because in my case my interviewer asked me the question related to computer network which I have not mentioned on my resume.

After some time I got a mail that I have cleared the technical interview and there will an HR round.

Coming to the Hr round.

My Hr is a lady and she is so friendly that I am also not feeling nervous at answering the questions.

She asked me to introduce myself.

Why Ericsson?

Do you have any questions for me. ?

Done.

After that she told me to leave and also told me what it goes.

After 5 days my college send the list of selected students and I am one of them. I am very happy that it is the best day of my life.

My tips to you.

Be confident.
Good communication skill.
Prepare your resume well.
Prepare well for the online test.
Each round is very challenging till you get your offer letter.
