The whole placement process was completed in two days and each round was an elimination round.
Round I - Online test(Quant, English and Logical).
Round II - Technical interview.
Round III - HR interview.
The online tests was conducted through cocubes. All the sections had mixture of easy and average level questions which can be cracked by practising few old question papers and using basic logics & formulas. Only constraint was the time limit (I was able to score well in logical and english sections but merely passed in quant section since I had only 10 mins left with me and ended up guessing answers), I would suggest to attempt the english and logical reasoning sections first because you will lose lot of time while attempting quant section. There is no negative marking feel free to guess and make sure that you attempt all questions. About 300 people were selected for the next round.
The technical interview gathered mixed responses, for few it was too easy and for few it was "too technical". There were more than 15 panels arranged for the interviews and the interviews lasted from 15-45 mins. I had to explain everything n my cv and apart from that some random questions from analog electronics and electrical machines(wasn\'t expecting that!). Also the interviewer tested me on some real life practical examples like how the EM waves travel from one tower to the other and how they are created etc etc (fortunately my answers were satisfactory if not accurate).
So in short be ready to face random questions but the least you can do is know your cv well (remove anything if required), prepare all the communications subject well(telecom, networking, analog and digital communication, mobile comm). More than 200 people cleared the II round.
HR round was comparatively easy. You just need to give honest answers about some well known HR questions. The interviewer asked me give an intro(try to stand out from the crowd)and then asked if i was okay with any location( just say yes), whether i am capable of working in a team. Also the HR interviewer had my Round I scores and asked why i had scored so low in quant section, I told him the truth that i guessed answers and he smiled ;p.
Finally the results came out after few hours and i was selected along with 170 people ;p.
Just prepare whatever you can and stay alert during interviews and be honest. All the best!!
