Ericsson India Global Services Pvt. Ltd. Interview Experience - JECRC College, Jaipur, Rajasthan: Date-23/03/17

Hello Guys,

I am here to share my experience of Ericsson placement drive held at JECRC College, Jaipur.

It was a pool drive consisting of around 400 students from 4 different colleges, including Poornima Group of College, JECRC, SKIT Jaipur and Arya College. I am from Poornima College.

So, talking about the first round, the written test, the paper was conducted by CoCubes. It was of 45 min. consisting of 45 questions each from Quant, Verbal and LR with NO NEGATIVE MARKING. It was an average paper, LR was very easy, you just have to manage time. For Quant and LR just brush up your concepts with some conceptual problem. The only thing that matters is time management here.

The result announced after 1 hour of the test, and I was selected for the technical round.

I don't know the exact count of people who were shortlisted for the technical but it was around 140-150.

Then, in my technical round, the interviewer has laptop with him and he is crosschecking my answers on the internet. First of all, he underline my training profile (Optical Fiber Technician), he was impress by seeing my resume mostly covered up with technical related to Communication. Then he asked questions about my training, about my project, asked me to explain the types of scanning on TV.

He almost asks me everything related to the whole Communication part of our engineering syllabus, but he stuck to the basics. Then he asked 4-5 questions from Networking and then some questions from my review paper which I have presented at a conference. The whole technical was of 25-30 min. 20 min. was the average time of each panel, the maximum was 50 min.

Then we have told to wait for the results of technical, then some of us got selected for HR, I was one of them.
In HR, my confidence level was very high. the HR tried everything to grill my potential and confidence but I stuck to my thoughts. He asked me that are you comfortable with 18 months service agreement, and also that Is it good to sign a service agreement. Then he asked about my family background and asked if I have any job offers, I said yes, then justify myself that why should I looking for Ericsson. He asked me to share my views on Demonetization.  The interview was very good from my side.

The most important thing is that I am not that much fluent in English (the fumble problem), but still I was very much clear about my technical knowledge and my thoughts (but never try to talk in Hindi or any other regional language). So try to brush up your technical knowledge, also refer Data Communication tutorial by tutorials point (It was suggested in a previous interview experience on IndiaBix and it works for me).

I don't have the data of other colleges, but from my college Poornima, a total 130 students were appeared for Ericsson, out of which 25 students selected finally, so may be a total of 70-80 got selected from all the 400 students.

And I was one of them.... :)
All the very best friends.
