Hello friends.
I am from ECE branch.
I attended placement drive of Ericsson on 13th august 2014 at guru dronacharya college. First we got mail from our college on 9th august regarding pool drive of ericsson through cocubes and got link from them on which we have to register. Next day we got an email regarding venue and time. We all reach venue at 10. 30 am. There were around 300- 400 students.
Cocube aptitude test- at around 11am we were assigned systems for aptitude test. There were 3 sections of 15 question each which we have to complete in 45 min. The verbal part was difficult, apti section included question from profit loss, trains, age, ratio, percentage, probability. Soon result was declared around 200 students cleared. I was one of them.
Gd round -as soon as result was declared we were assigned gd panels. There were around 20 panels. Each panel had 10 students. Mine panel was 6.
The topic we were assigned was should petrol be regular by private sectors. I spoke against. I just spoke for 2 min on average but spoke valid points. At the end I just got confused and spoke in favour. One student hold that point and start saying you changed your opinion again and again. Soon result was declared and I got selected. On average 4 students from every group were selected.
Technical round - tell me about yourself.
What is delta modulation ? Not able to answer.
Explain various classes of amplifiers? not able to answer.
Manchester coding ? No answer.
Then he asked me you from ECE.
I said yes, then he told why are you not able to answer these ques, these are core electronics question. I said that from past 6 months I am concentrating on networking as I did my training from aricent. He looked my cv then and asked about.
What is vlan ? Told.
Itut number for vlan ? Told.
Rstp, mstp? told.
Diff between rstp and mstp? told.
Explain project? Told.
Ok you can leave.

Got selected for hr.
Hr round was tough.
Asked what can you give to Ericsson?
