Deloitte India (T&T EAD ADMM Analyst).
Since this website helped me a lot during my preparation, I feel it’s my duty to give back by sharing my Deloitte interview experience in detail.

Role: Analyst - T&T EAD ADMM.
Company: Deloitte India.
Mode: On-Campus.
Month: August 2025.
Total Rounds: 3.

1. Resume Shortlisting.
2. Online Test.
3. 3 Offline Rounds.

1. Gd.
2. Technical interview.
3. Hr (optional).

Before Deloitte’s visit, we had a 1–2 hour session with a senior working at Deloitte. I also personally spoke to 2–3 more seniors for suggestions and guidance.
Their insights helped me a lot, and after those talks, I somehow had a strong intuition, that I could actually get selected.

Round 1: Resume Shortlisting.
Form filled: 19th August 2025.
Shortlist mail received: 20th August 2025.

Around 90% of students were shortlisted for the next round.
A small tip — fill the registration form carefully!
One of my friends didn’t proceed because he left a confusing field blank. He still regrets it.

Round 2: Online Test.

Date: 20th August 2025.

After completing the test, I again had that intuition that things might go well.
However, later that day, we didn’t receive any mail.
The next morning, some friends said people already got the mail for the offline rounds, and we hadn’t, which honestly disappointed us.
But the twist came the next evening (21st August) around 5:58 PM, when the shortlist was released.
Out of curiosity, I opened it just to see who got in and unexpectedly, found my name!

I was so happy that I immediately went out, bought new shoes, ironed my placement clothes, and called my seniors again for resume suggestions and did few resume changes.

That night (around 10 PM) , I read multiple Deloitte interview experiences on IndiaBix and prepared every topic mentioned in my resume thoroughly.

Round 3: Offline Rounds (22nd August 2025).

The final day had three rounds:.

1. Group Discussion (GD) - Elimination.
2. Technical Interview.
3. Optional HR + Technical Interview (only for some candidates).

Round 3. 1 – Group Discussion.

Participants: around 100 students.

Our group had 8 members. Before starting, we all agreed not to create chaos and ensure everyone gets a chance to speak. We focused on teamwork over dominance.

The panel appreciated our coordination and team spirit, and 4–5 members from our group were shortlisted.
Tip: GDs, don’t try to overpower others. Collaborate, listen, and contribute meaningfully.
Selected for next round: around 50–60 students.

Round 3. 2 – Technical Interview.

Here’s where luck also played a role. My name was in the end of the list for the interview, so I know till my round the interviewer is gonna frustrated and it may be difficult for me, but at the same time our college had the online test of cognizant company too, so almost 80-90%people went there and I didn't filled that company's form, so it made my interview early.

Questions & Discussion:.

1. He asked for my introduction while he was looking at my resume.

Try to tell your achievements there, since I had a very good academics history also so I start with this, I gave a very good - 1. 5 to 2 min of intro, and in between my intro he stooped looking at my resume and start looking at me with a little smile (at that time I think he was impressed).

2. He Asked about Postman (mentioned in my resume).

3. He Asked if I knew Java.

I said I’m more comfortable with C++ (i also have decent coding profile, 3 stars on codechef and 400+ questions on leetcode).

4. Which is faster java or c++ and why.

5. Real life use cases of Stack and Array.

6. Arrays and Pointers.

7. Stack and Heap memory.

8. Then a thinking-based question:.

“If a junior comes to you to learn C++ and you already have a job, how will you teach him?”.

I told yes I 'll, (try to be as structured as possible here) , I told we'll decide 1 hour daily, decide a plan for 3 months (basic + moderate + advance each month).

9. He gave a case-based problem:.

“Design a digital solution for a car repairing company. ”.

I proposed an app solution, (try to think from business perspective here) , I suggested offers for regular customers.

10. Why the lids of the seawage holes circular and not rectangular or triangle.

The moment was chill at that time, and throughout the whole interview I had a little smile on my face, so I told him with a smile, may be it is easier to rotate and screw the circular lid, he laughed and told me this is not correct, but I could only think of this, he seemed satisfied and we shook hands.

Round 3. 3 – HR + Technical Round (Optional).

It was not for everyone, some of people didn't gave this round but still got selected.

Questions:

1. Interviewer gave me his intro, he asked me about interesting things about me.
I gave a detailed intro again.

2. He asked me about my family members, and things I like to do.
His main moto was to know how I'm in person.

3. Then he asked me if I 'm going to buy a vehicle then what are 3 things I inquire about in 30 seconds.
(try to be as structured as possible).

4. If I were a team leader, and there is a dispute between team to select a tech -stack, then how will I resolve it.
I said - we will first see what are client's requirements, we will decide the functionalities we have to build, and based on functionalities we will decide the most efficient tech-stacks, then after discussing with the team we'll select on which all agrees.

5. What are things I love to do.
I said, I love creating, creating art, creating solutions (and then I gave him a detailed description of my latest project telling the solution it is solving, to make the discussion more tech oriented).

He then asked if I had any questions. I asked about his own experience at Deloitte and his career advice for me.
We ended with a handshake and smiles.

Verdict : selected.

My Suggestions.

- Be real and confident.
- Don’t try to fake answers, they value honesty and clarity.
- Read about Deloitte’s work culture and your resume topics thoroughly.

Keep smiling — it really helps set the tone.
If it’s meant for you, it will come to you :).
