Cognizant conducted pool campus drive of various colleges of West Bengal on 26 October and it was conducted in our college(BCREC).
The students who have cleared the aptitude round were invited for the interview round.
Aptitude was conducted online with webcam and was of average difficulty.
The coding section is tough, 7 questions in 20 minutes.
You need to be very fast in this section.
At the interview venue, we were allotted serial number.
Then we proceeded for a technical interview.
There were a total of 28 technical interview panels.
In a short while, my name was called.
I entered the room, the interviewer went thoroughly by my CV and the questions begin.
I was asked questions about my training and my project in detail.
My suggestion is that to be very sure and clear with the training, projects, internships, certifications or whatever is mentioned in your CV.
Then I was asked about my favorite programming language for which I answered Python.
I was asked questions starting from beginner level to advanced level to which I answered in the best possible way.
At last, I was asked to write a program of method calling which I wrote successfully.
Then we were called for document submission.
Meanwhile, the students who were rejected at the technical interviews were announced.
I was lucky to be promoted for the HR round.
The HR round was easy, I was asked about myself and my strengths and weaknesses.
At last, I would like to suggest just BE CONFIDENT...!!!
I hope this interview experience shared by me was helpful.
Thank you.
