Hello everyone!

I belong to ECE branch and I had faced many rejections before getting selected in cognizant campus drive.

I was on cloud nine when I had cleared the cognizant written test. It was based on AMCAT format. Consisting of easy aptitude, logical reasoning, English and 7 coding questions to be debugged. Out of those 7 coding questions you will find 3-5 will be very easy. Anyone can easily clear the written test with basic knowledge.

Then around 590 students were selected for the interview on 21st of Sept.

Some of the questions asked me in the interview are.

1. Being an ECE student. Why would you like to join an IT company.
2. What is an op-amp. What are it\'s different applications.
3. How does mobile communication happen.
4. Asked me to explain the working of a Wien bridge oscillator and pulse code modulation(since I had mentioned them in my resume).
5. Asked me to explain the algorithm of bubble sort.
6. He gave me a general case study and asked me diff solutions for it. That was easy and fun.

etc. etc. And the interview went on up to 50 mins.

So guys remember. All you need is confidence. That\'s what they check.

I was very Happy when my name was called for HR interview.

HR interview\' was just 10 mins long.

She asked me to introduce myself.

That day evening I got a mail from the placement Dept. And I was overjoyed to see my name in the list of selected students.

Immediately called Mom and daddy to share the good news.

Later I was placed in capgemini also because I carried the same confidence.
