I am Anvisha pursuing a bachelor degree in the stream of electrical and electronics department. I want to share my interview experience with you all. Well, Cognizant was conducted off campus drive for 2019 batch in January. They conducted an online test through AMCAT. Further technical and HR round for shortlisted candidates.

Online test :

I prepared basic aptitude questions and also previous AMCAT papers which helps me to crack online test.

TR round:

Here I am sharing interview questions asked in TR.

1). Tell me about your self.
2). Core subject that you are interested in?
I said power systems. He asked me basic questions on power systems.

3). About projects.
I said problem, solution, and working of my project.

4). About curricular activities which I have mentioned in my resume.

5). Asked me to write a program on sorting.
I wrote the program and he asked me to explain it.

6). He asked me questions on Java where I mentioned Java in my resume.
7). He also asked do you know about the database.

I said that I know only basics.

Those were only questions asked in the technical round.

HR:

In HR, he was very friendly and makes me Comfort.
He asked about relocation, company, strengths, and weaknesses.

That is how the HR round went.

After 4 days I received a mail that I am selected.

Suggestion :

I suggested you prepare well. Where preparation gives you the confidence to handle any type of questions.
Be honest and confident with the interviewer. And for HR prepare standard questions that usually asked those are sufficient.
