Cognizant Interview Experience - Hyderabad; September 11th and 12th

Hi everyone,
I am Pavan and study in an engineering college in Hyderabad. Our college was visited by many companies like Deloitte, Cognizant, Accenture, Wipro, Infosys etc and I am going to share one of my placement experiences.
Selection procedure:
Written Test.
Technical interview.
HR Interview.
DAY 1: WRITTEN TEST:
Written test was conducted by AMCAT test was adaptive, so you need to answer every question be it right or wrong and once you answer a question you can\'t come back and change the option.
Duration of examination: 1 hour.
Format: Verbal-25 questions (30 mins) + Quantitative-16 questions (16 mins) + Logical-14 questions (14 mins).
Tips for test:
Verbal->You will get repeated questions in this section so please google for AMCAT Synonyms, antonyms and passages.
If you have time read Word Power Made easy by Norman Lewis (for synonyms and antonyms), its more than enough.
Quantitative+Logical->Time plays a major role in this section, so practice as mush as possible.
Suggested reading: Aptitude books by R.S. Agarwal.
So, after test around 50% of students were selected for technical interview.
DAY 2: INTERVIEWS:
Technical Interview:
I was asked questions like tell me about year self, why cognizant, project related questions and basics of C and C++ as I am from non-IT branch.
Tips: Be perfect with what you wrote in your resume, especially your projects and favorite subjects because most of the questions are asked from resume.
50% students were selected for Hr round.
HR Interview:
I was asked questions like tell me about yourself, tell about your collage, why IT field, are you willing to relocate etc and was asked to sign a form.
Tips: Confidence+Basic Communication skills.
Around 85% were finally selected for the job and I was one of them.
