CTS Interview Experience - West Bengal, September, 2015

Hi Guys,
We had CTS visiting our college during first week of September.
There were 3 rounds:
1. Online Aptitude Test by Aspiring Minds (Aptitude or Maths, English and Reasoning) on first day 1 min for each question in all the sections.
2. Technical Interview.
3. HR Interview.
Both Interview on second day.
Out of 328 about 190 students were selected in aptitude.
Technical Interview:
ME: Good Morning Sir!
Sir: Very Good Morning! How was your day?
ME: Sir it was good.
Sir: Tell me something about yourself.
ME: Told. (tell all things that you have done in college including your participation in competitions and fests and accolades won and your strengths).
Sir: What are the subjects that you like.
ME: C, Java, OS, DS, DBMS.
Sir: Since you like DBMS, I am gonna ask you to write a query.
Then he gives two tables Employee and Manager, and asks me to find out manager name, salary and max salary.
Me: solved.
Then he gave me 1 more similar query related to aggregation function.
I solved that as well.
Meanwhile he goes through my CV while I am busy writing query.
He asked apart from computers what other subjects m comfortable with, I told him Physics and Chemistry.
Sir: Tell me about main() in C, its return type and about argc and argv format of main() and which type of programs it is used.
ME: told and also explained that it is used in command line parameter input. Showed him the format. Also told him it\'s used in socket programming.
Sir: Which is most difficult program you have done till date that gave you immense pleasure.
ME: There are many difficult and complex programs but I find recursion to be very beautiful and elegant.
Sir: Tell me about recursion.
ME: Tells him about merge sort, Fibonacci series and factorial.
Sir: Write a program to find whether a number is prime or not.
ME: Wrote.
Sir: Tell me about Encoder, Decoder and Multiplexer.
Me: Told a little.
Sir: What Subjects do you have in your 4th year and 3rd year.
ME: Told.
Sir: Tell me about your Hobbies.
ME: Told.
Asks more questions about my hobbies.
Sir: Are you willing to relocate and work at night shifts.
ME: Yes Sir.
Agreed to both.
Sir: Do you have any questions?
ME: What are the areas do I need to focus on between now and joining the company?
Sir: Just know your subjects well !
Sir: I am through with my questions. You can go now.
ME: Thank you Sir.
After 15 mins I was informed that I am selected for HR Round.
HR ROUND:
ME: Good morning ma\'am.
HR: Good morning. Congratulations for clearing Technical round, you must be really confident by now.
ME: Yes ma\'am.
HR: Tell me about yourself apart from studies and background. Something interesting about yourself.
ME: Told.
HR: You mentioned you are good in Quiz and general knowledge, where do you prepare for it.
ME: Told.
HR: Asks me about my marks in class 12.
ME: Explained.
HR: Are you willing to relocate?
ME: Yes ma\'am.
HR: Sign here (gives me a document which states I m willing to relocate).
ME: Signs.
HR: Okay you can go now.
ME: Thanks you Ma\'am.
The results came out and the selected me.
The most important thing to remember in interviews is to maintain eye contact and have confidence.
