Hello Everyone,

My name is Gaurav Jaiswal and I am from Allahabad. I want to share my interview experience which was held at Galgotia, Greater Noida.

Now let's come to the selection process. It consisted of three rounds.

- Online test (AMCAT).
- Technical Interview.
- HR Interview (Formality).

ONLINE TEST (21 Feb 2015):

Online test was conducted by AMCAT and it consisted of three sections:

- VERBAL 25 min 25 Question.

- Aptitude 16 min 16 Question (Tricky Ones. If you find the trick then it is very easy to solve. Otherwise it is little bit tough. I solved all 16 correctly in 14 min.)

- Logical 14 min 14 question.

You don't have to prepare anything for VERBAL and LOGICAL REASONING because you don't know that which antonym, synonym or paragraph will come.

But aptitude was little bit tough (if you know the tricks/shortcut method I am sure that you people will gonna beat my time score. And it requires some preparation.

Important topics:

- Number System.
- Time and Work.
- SPEED.
- RATIO.
- PERCENTAGE.
- Profit and Loss.
- Problems based on trains, etc.

This was my off campus held at CGC Landran. Near about 3000 students appeared in the written. The results were out next day on college website i.e. on 22 Feb 2015 and I was shocked to see the result that near about 360 students only cleared the written.

TECHNICAL INTERVIEW (1st March @ Galgotia, Greater Noida):

This is an elimination round. You have to know everything you have mentioned in your resume especially project and areas of interest.

When I entered the cabin for interview, there was a south Indian.

ME: May I come in Sir.

INTERVIEWER: Yeah sit down.
ME: Thank You.

INTERVIEWER: 2 min, he took to look my resume and banged back with one of the most general and important question, INTRODUCE YOURSELF (Dude this is the confirmed question prepare for this like your name, you belong to, your hobby, your goal, your schooling, Your degree, Ending with Your Strength + Weaknesses. Be confident while saying this and please wear a smile all the time.
ME: INTRODUCED.

He will definitely ask you about your project. You just explain it at your best, and you will gain confidence for the rest of your interview that is what they are looking for. See how easy it is to crack technical round.

INTERVIEWER: OK explain your project now.
ME: Explained for 10 min.

Then he asked me to write a program to find the second largest number present in the array. I made a program but he was unable to figure it out that what code I have written.

Then I told him that I had implemented bubble sorting technique first so that the array get sorted in ascending order.

After that I'm finding the length of a sorted array by strlen() and directly printing the value of strlen-2 which is second largest number in an array.

Guys believe me after that he hasn't asked any question related to C, C++ or Java.

After that he asked me that whether I had studied DIGITAL LOGIC as a subject or not? (I have done MCA and we don't have this subject in MCA. So, I confidently said NO.)

If you don't know any answer just tell them confidently that sir I don't know. He is just looking for confidence. They don't expect you to know everything. They will train you after selection, they are just checking that if you are interested to learn or not.

After 10-15 min I got a call for HR round. If you clear Technical round than you are 75 percent IN.

HR ROUND:

This round was easy but never take this round that much easy because elimination can also be done in this round. I am from Allahabad. So she directly asked me to tell something about Allahabad. In starting my world goes upside down because at that time nothing was coming in my mind, but somehow I managed and told her.

Then she asked me to tell something about your family, After that she asked me million dollar question WHY CTS, Guys, keep yourself well prepared for this ques. 99% is the chances that they will ask this questions.

After that she asked me to read one passage which is basically of relocation purpose and asked me if you are ready for this than only sign this. JUST WAITING FOR THE RESULT. WILL BE CONFIRMED THROUGH MAIL.

PREPARE WELL AND GOOD LUCK DUDE.
