Hi Friends

Im very happy to inform u that I got selected in CTS. On 2nd of july 2006 CTS came to our campus(JNTU Anantapur) for recruitment. The team was very cool and jovial. I would like to share my experience with CTS. Hope it will help those who are about to face campus interviews.

The pattern contains a written test after that an interview.

Firstly I\'ll tell u about my interview. It was very simple and he had not asked me much. In the written sheet itself he asked us to fill up a form. Beware b\'coz most answers will be from the answers u wrote in that form. Also the answers you write will have imp.
The questions in the form are;
1) What are ur strengths and weakness.
2) What ur expecting from CTS.
3) What qualities r necessary for a s/w professional, R u a successful professional. give reason.
4) why CTS.

Many companies are asking to write answers for these questions after written test.

The questions I was asked in interview are:
1) Yes, shasha tell me about yourself.
2) ok, how many guess works u had made in todays test(written).
3) What is a smart pointer.
4) What is a virtual function. how we can call it.
5) Other than resume tell me 5 qualities in u, saying why should I hire u.
6) A question on weakness that I had quoted in CTS form.
7) Are u a class topper(I quoted in my resume).
8) Why u are not selected in previous interview.
9) Is there any thing left, that I have to ask u.
10) Later I asked two queries about CTS.
This is all my interview and I was selected. I wish u all success.

The written test was hard. It contains three sections verbal, aptitude, reasoning. Verbal was tough he had given 2 essays each having 5 questions. Remaining are \'find correct sentence from incorrect one\' and \'incorrect sentence from a group of correct sentences\'. They are confusing.

Aptitude was very easy it contains venn diagram, time and work, and some questions on decimal to binary conversion, a question on angles etc. RS Agarwal is enough for it.

The reasoning contans classification problems that mostly found in bank and railway exams also 5 problems are from cubes(two cubes cut into 216 pieces and merged, later painted find how many cubes are uncoloured, only two face colored etc.), another 5 questions are like a bag contains 4 red, 6 yelow.. balls after they mixed in some manner later how many balls are there in each box. They are simple but need some pre knowledge.

The test was conducted by \'MeritTrac\', a consultancy conducting tests for many companies (accenture etc). Most questions will get repeat, hence if u find any papers conducted by merittrac go through it. They rare repeating 50% questions. How ever the cutoff is less, so don\'t bother. Also there is no negative marking. Just give a resemble answer its enough.
All the best.
