CTS Interview Experience - Coimbatore, 05 October 2014.

Interviewer: HI <my_name>, this is Baskar(I still remember his name).
Me: HI Sir.
Interviewer: How was the day?
Me: Good.
Interviewer: Why do you say it\'s good?
Me: Sir, It\'s good so far.
Interviewer: Why do you say its good so far?
Me : (I really didn\'t know how to answer this and ended up saying) Every day I woke up I think that the day is great and at the end of the day I really have a good day.
Interviewer:You are the first non-Christian who I\'m interviewing today, How is it being in karunya ?
Me: *I criticized karunya about prayers*.
Interviewer: Are you criticizing karunya ?
Me: Sir, to be frank I\'m not. I don\'t really say that prayers don\'t work as there are ppl whose prayers have come true on the other hand I don\'t really say that It works as I have seen my prayers not answered so I\'m neutral.
Interviewer: If I give you a Job which can be completed in 20 days and I ask you to complete within a week. What would you do?
Me: Sir, I won\'t take up the job.
Interviewer: What if I force you to take up the job?
Me: I would try my level not to take the job.
Interviewer: what if I really forced you to take up the job? (This guy was a trouble maker).
Me: If the job is not confidential I will ask my friends for help and if it\'s confidential I will never ever take up the job.
(Kept asking few more questions like this, I got frustrated but pretended to be cool).
Interviewer: What If I give you a project on a new language which is not known by you. What will be your approach in solving it?
Me: Firstly I would start up learning the language and I will also start writing algorithms on how the project can be done. I will try to implement the things learned side by side on the project.
Interviewer:You are going to home for an important work and We are having a critical work to be done at the company. What will you do?
Me: I will go to home to finish my work and I will make sure that I do complete the work that has to done in the company through internet, like work from home.
Interviewer: (one of my area of interest was networking) Draw different topologies.
Me: *I drew*.
Interviewer: there are 2 pairs of black socks and 2 pair of blue socks. How may socks you will have to pick to ensure that you get a pair of socks of the same colour?
Me: *Answer is 3 * I would pick 3.
Interviewer: Are you ready to be located anywhere in India?
Me: Sure Sir.
HR.
Interviewer: HI Hareesh, how was your day? (Same questions. ! My blood started to boil).
Me: Good.
Interviewer: tell me about yourself.
Me: I\'m Hareesh and I\'m final year CSE student.
Interviewer: that\'s it? (No one answers this short).
Me: yes mam, if you want to know anything else you can ask me.
Interviewer: No, Just read this and sign here if you agree.
Me: It\'s okay for me. *then signed*.
Me: HI Sir.
