Posted By : Swarupa Rating : +6, -1
HAI Friends
I got placed in CTS. The written test was conducted on 20th Sep and 21st September interview was held.

WRITTEN:

First Section -  Verbal
Consisiting of  jumbled sentences, comprehension and correct and incorrect sentences. Identifying correct and incorrect sentences are based on simple grammar like tenses, verb agreement for singular and plural, please  refer  any book consisting rules for correct grammar.  You can follow  GENERAL ENGLISH FOR COMPETITIONS BY RAVI CHOPRA  (GALGOTIA PUBLICATIONS). For this section time is very less. Don't read comprehension  first. Finish other part and then go.

Second section
Consisting of venn diagrams, cubes, binary conversion and data sufficiency. For us this time venn diagram was very tough. We have to make equations and we have to solve it.

Cube sum: two 8 cubes are stacked  and then another three 8 cubes stacked above that. You have to find 2 side painted, 3 side painted, 1side painted, and more than 3 side painted..

Please note, If you remove any cubes or any layers from the existing cube structure, MORE THAN 3 FACES PAINTED MAY EXIST. PLEASE IMAGINE AND DO THAT CAREFULLY. PLEASE DO THE CUBE SUMS AT LAST ..

Simple seating arrangement was asked. its very easy.

FOR THIS SECTION, PLEASE REFER TIME MATERIAL FOR REASONING

Third Section
Consisting of logical deductions, logical connectives, non verbal figures and one puzzle type questions.

FOR LOGICAL CONNECTIVES PLEASE REFER TIME MATERIAL FOR REASONING 2ND CHAPTER,

FOR LOGICAL DEDUCTIONS AND NON VERBAL FIGURES PLEASE FOLLOW NON VERBAL REASONING BY R. S. AGARWAL.

THAT'S ALL ABOUT WRITTEN.

INTERVIEW:

For me it was fully technical. He asked me about my mini project. Then he asked my all sem mark sheets and started questioning about each and every subject. MY interview lasted for 45 min..

BE BOLD IN ANSWERING AND BE FAST IN ANSWERING.. YOU HAVE TO SHOW YOUR CONFIDENT LEVEL  EVENTHOUGH THE ANSWERS ARE CORRECT OR WRONG..

I HAVE ASKED HIM THREE QUESTIONS

WHAT IS SIX SIGMA TECHNOLOGY? He was explained me very nicely..
WHERE I WILL BE TRAINED ? AND WHAT ARE ALL THE COMPUTER COURSES NEEDED FOR OUR COMPANY?

ATLAST I WAS SELECTED. SO PLEASE GUYS BE BOLD AND TIME MANAGEMENT IS VERY IMPORTANT. MEET U ALL IN CTS
