Hello friends, I am T. Hari Hara Kumar, EEE Branch..
- Cognizant interview was a pleasant experience.
- There are 3 rounds Written, Technical and HR.
- Written test is very easy and maximum number qualified written test.
- Out of 1200 members, 700 members went for technical interview. TR was conducted for two days. My technical round was on 2nd day.
- It was a bit difficult to crack technical.
- I was called at 12: 30 in the noon for TR.
Madam: Hi.
Me: Hi mam.
Madam: Tell about yourself?
Me: Completed I mainly concentrated on my technical achievements and organising and coordinating skills.
Madam: Tell about your Academic projects and paper publication done by you?
Me: Told.
Madam: Write a simple program which you feel difficult?
Me: Written Pascal Triangle program.
Madam: Tell about Electromagnetic Wave?
Me: Told but the answer was wrong. But madam didn\'t stopped me.
Madam: Tell about AC, Cooler, Fan working?
Me: Told.
Madam: Every EEE person seems same.. What is the difference between them and you?
Me: I know SQL a little bit mam. you can test me madam by giving a query.
Madam: Ok, I\'ll give a table and write a Query?
Me: Written well. and I know the normalisation also madam can I explain it.
Madam: No Hari. Its enough. What is a 8086 Microprocessor?
Me: I told feeling tensed and I told that I have done a academic project on it, I explained the project using program.
Madam: Tell me about thermodynamics?
Me: Said well.
Madam: Tell me about Linked list?
Me: Said a bit about it.
Madam: Are ready to get relocate?
Me: Yes.
Madam: Any queries?
Me: Asked.
Madam: Ok Hari nice to meet you.. You may leave now.
Me: Thank you and left the room.
I was very tensed about my results, if we get selected in TR then we will be going to HR.
After 10 min I was shortlisted for HR and very happy.
Then Hr interview was very pleasant and we need to be confident there. all are routine questions I faced (Tell me about company, family etc..)/
After completing TR, HR seems to be a Cakewalk!
Out of 700 members 250 members got selected and I was one of them..
