Hello friends,

- Cognizant interview was a pleasant experience. It\'s different from other companies.

- Punctuality is clearly exhibited.

- There are 3 rounds Written, Technical and HR.

- Written test is very easy and max number qualified written test.

- 700 members went for technical interview. TR was conducted for two days. My technical round was on 1st day.

- It was a bit difficult to crack technical, but if it is done HR is a cake walk.

- I was called at 11 o\'clock in the morning for TR.

Madam: Good morning.
Me: Good morning.

Madam: Tell about yourself.
Me: Completed with lot of tension and many times used the conjunction "AND"

Madam: Tell about your Academic projects.
Me: Told.

Madam: Write a simple program using Graphics Library in C (Related to my academic project).
Me: Wrote, but not so appropriate.

Madam: Do you know SQL?
Me: yes.

Madam: Ok, I\'ll give a table and write a Query?
Me: Written well using Nested Queries.

Madam: What is a Microprocessor?
Me: I was dumb and unable to speak a word on it.

Madam: Tell something about Microprocessor and control, atleast applications where we use them?
Me: Laptop and dumb again.

Madam: Difference between HTML and XML?
Me: Said well.

Madam: Data Structure definition?
Me: Said.

Madam: Are ready to get relocated in Pune?
Me: yes and some explanation.

Madam: Any queries?
Me: What areas I need to improve before coming into the company?

Madam: We will train you there, you a bit tensed and more clarity is required in communication.
Me: Thank you and left the room.

I was very tensed about my results, if we get selected in TR then we will be going to HR.

After an hour I was shortlisted for HR and very happy.

Then Hr interview was very pleasant and we need to be confident there.

Hr: Hello.
Me: Hello sir, Good Morning.

Hr: Tell about yourself?
Me: Said.

Hr: Explain your project (in particular).
Me: Explained it well.

Hr: What are the three things you think there is a need to change in society and what is your role for that? 
Me: Said. Child labour, Sexual harassment.

Hr: You would get better opportunities if do your Masters?
Me: Answered it well with good explanation (We should not say yes, it\'s a trap question)

Hr: Ok, Had a very wonderful time with you.
Me: It\'s my pleasure sir, Thank you.

In that way the interview came to end and after 3 days results were announced and i was Selected.

Important thing is we need to have complete command on our resume and see that you are well aware of the academic projects in the resume.
