Interviewer: Hello, how are you?
Me (Grammatically, I) : Fine, Sir, good.
Interviewer: Tell me about yourself.
Introduction: Name, degree, department, grades (We were advised to bring to focus what was there in the resume using appropriate adjectives as \'consistent\' or the likes), hobbies, a bit of family background and what you feel you should educate the interviewer about you.
Interviewer: Are you a book worm? (I am still not able to infer why he asked me that).
Me: Umm, no, Sir.
Interviewer: You don\'t know C, is it? How? (I had written C, stating that I was learning it. But Java was there in my area of interest).
Me: Sir, I didn\'t really learn programming the first few semesters then in the semester I had Java there was an assignment and I was helpless. That\'s when I learnt Java.
Interviewer: Okay, what is void?
What is call by reference and call by value?
What are constructors and destructors?
What is meant by polymorphism?
Interviewer: Do you know about DBMS?
Basics, Sir.
Interviewer: What is meant by RDBMS?
What are Triggers?
Interviewer: Okay, that is it.
Me: Thank you, Sir.
I got through the technical interview and then it was HR interview.
The interview started with the explanation as to why there was a HR round, stating that it was to check if the interviewee was willing to work and the other needed confirmations.
Interviewer: Who is the Finance Director of CTS?
Me: Don\'t know, Sir.
Questions on Why CTS should select me? Why I chose to appear for the CTS selection process? And, if I would have problems if I was chartered across the nation and if given a project that wasn\'t my area of interest.
That was it. I got through the process, CTS However, all of the selection process is in God\'s hands and not a mere mechanized routine. So do your best honestly and leave the rest in hope and trust. All of it is part of a bigger plan to your best interests. All the best.
