CTS Interview Experience - Chennai, 04th Sept, 2014
I attended CTS on-campus recruitment at our college. The process initiated by Pre-placement talk on 04-09-14.
Totally there was 3 rounds.
1. Aptitude Round.
2. Technical Round.
3. HR Round.
Totally 950 Students were eligible for CTS Process.
Aptitude was conducted by Merit Trac, Chennai. Before taking test we need to fill online form about us. Which is very useful up to HR round. Don't entertain while filling the form. It consist of Reasoning and verbal sections. Totally 55 questions were present (30 reasoning + 25 verbal). Time also 55mins. No Negative Marking. Time management is very important.
Out of 950. One-third of candidates were cleared aptitude round. I was also cleared.
The next day Technical Round.
Tech. Panel member greeted me and he allowed to take my seat. He asked about myself and my hometown. Then he asked about my area of interest. I said DBMS and Oops.
Then he asked some queries and oops concepts. He asked me to write a program for swapping numbers. Gmail login. Palindrome. I answered. Then he asked about my mini project. I explained. Then he asked about my strength and weakness. Finally he asked. Why cognizant? I said my answer.
That's all about technical interview.
Out of 370 students. 300 were selected for HR round. I was also attended HR round.
Hr round gone with very casual talks. They asked about myself (self intro). And to narrate a film story.
Asked about my responsibilities.
About my academic scores.
About relocation and night shift work.
About my short and long term goals.
Finally they said me to ask questions. I asked about working culture. And etc.
That's all. I answered all the above questions very honestly and confidently. Then I got selected. Out 220 students.
Be confident and honest.
All the best.
