Hi friends, I am Vrushali Hule of MIT, PUNE.
I had attended CTS on campus placement this year,
190 was selected for 659 students (it was Shared Day Company for us).
There were three rounds,
1. Online Aptitude Test (AMCAT).
2. Technical Interview.
3. HR Interview.
This is the major elimination round,
If you clear this than your are just 25% away from getting into CTS.
The aptitude test was conducted by aspiring minds amcat. It was pretty easy.
Aptitude was organised by AMCAT, it had three sections Quantitative,
Verbal and Logical. This test was easy to crack only RS Aggarwal is sufficient.
General questions on ratio-proportion, time and work, ages were asked (typical AMCAT pattern).
But each section had separate cut off (although cut-off of quant section was not considered for shortlisting). 328 cleared it.
Technical interview can be purely technical, it all depends upon the interviewer.
I was from Electronics and Telecommunication so mine was not whole technical.
Interviewer : Good morning Vrushali.
Me : Good morning Sir.
Interviewer : You look very energetic.
Me : (Surprised) , I just said kind of sir.
Interviewer : Asked to introduced Yourself.
Me : Did, (say you name, place do not speak much on your academic marks 12th this 10th that, Generally interviewers don\'t like it.
Interviewer : Asked about my Third year project.
Me : explained.
Interviewer : Difference between Microcontroller and Microprocessor with example.
Me : Did.
Interviewer : Asked about my extra activities.
Me : explained properly (you should have 3-4 to satisfy them).
Interviewer : Asked about Robocon Event (As I was from MIT).
Me : Thank god I had participated in Robocon, explained all about it.
In general, try to be confident and firm on you answer, you can surely clear this round.
After Technical personal interview is it just cake walk. They just check you communication skills.
And most important are you ready to relocate to any place?
Go talk nicely to the HR, and you are done with it.
Finally was placed in CTS, happy to be a cognizian.
