There was an AMCAT test on 7th feb I cleared that and got called for interview.
On 16 I was having my interview.
There were two rounds Technical and HR.
Technical:
Me: May I come in?
He: Yes sit. Looking at my cv ok Anmol tell me your introduction.
Me : Told about me little about my family then about my education and then about my projects.
He: Tell me about line maze solver[my project].
Me: Told and explained its logic.
He: Ok anmol tell me about inheritance, polymorphism.
Me: Told.
He: What is an array.
Me: Told.
He: CDMA, GSM, FDMA, TDMA.
Me: Told.
He: You know about Database or something.
Me: No sir.
HE; Currently what are you doing:
Me: Training in RTDSS and then explained it.
He: Then he asked me about embedded system.
Me : Explained.
He: Suppose you have to by a pc what configuration will you buy.
Me: Sir I bought a laptop recently I will tell its configuration.
He : Ok sure.
Me: Interl core i7, 8gb ram, 1 tb hdd, 2 gb graphic card.
Me; My i7 is dual core.
He: I7 can be dual core?
Me; Yes sir 4500u is mobile processor and it\'s dual core.
He: Tell me difference between i3, i5 and i7.
Me: I3 is simple, i5 has multithreading and i7 has hyperthreading.
He : Explain multithreading and hyperthreading.
Me; Told and explained.
HE: Which will be faster 10 ghz with 256 mb ram or 2 ghz with 2 gb ram.
Me; 2 ghz with 2 gb.
He: Why?
Me; Explained the reason.
He: Then he asked me two puzzles I have 12 feet of wood and I have to make 12 pieces of 1 foot each. To cut 1 foot it takes 1 min then how much it will take for me to cut 12 feet.
Me : Sir 11 minutes.
He: Why?
Me : Told.
He: I have a bag with 12 white and 12 black socks I want a pair how much time I have to pick up a socks to get a pair.
Me: 3 time either you will get white or black pair.
He : Ok anmol now you have any ques?
Me; asked about cognizant 2. 0.
He : Told.
Me: Sir tell me about your experience and designation.
He: I am a manager with 15 year of experience.
ME : Thank you sir it was nice talking to you : ).
He : Same here Anmol.
Then after sometime a person came and told me that you have to go for HR.
HR: HEllo Anmol tell me about yourself.
ME : Told.
HR: Tell me about your family.
ME : Told in detail including my jeeju who was in CTS.
HE: Why CTS.
ME; told.
HR: You have been in northern region, will you be able to adjust in south?
ME; I am adaptive and will easily adjust.
HR : You have to eat idli everyday.
ME: No problem sir.
HR: Ok tell me 2 things each for Bangalore, chennai and hyderabad.
ME; Told 2 things about bangalore like silicon city, and has most reputed institute of India IISC bangalore. Told about chennai a bit.
HR: Ok anmol I am done now you have something to ask?
ME: Sir tell me about your experience in cts.
HR: Told me about it.
ME: Thanku sir it was nice meeting you.
HR: Same here.
AFter few days I got the result on 22th feb that I got selected so the key was I was smiling although I didn\'t gave some of answers correctly.
