Hello friends,
This is Sonam from Indore. I did my BE. In CSE and I am 2012 passout.
I am going to share my experience with Cognizant Technology Solutions Recruitment Drive, held at Pune, Maharashtra.
Actually I had given Amcat test in my college back in 2011 (was not aware about amcat so gave it in fun).
But as people say. Every effort has its own importance and because of that test I got an interview opportunity after 2 years. I was previously selected in a company but didn\'t get joining. So this interview call was a huge relief for me.
My reporting time in the interview call letter was 9 AM.
The interviewer was a kind & humble man, told me all at once what he wanted me to explain. And those points were. Tell me about yourself, strength, hobbies, project, etc. I explained it one by one. After project he asked me about the subjects I have studied in my college. Guys data structure is the most common subject cognizant interviewer ask. Mainly in ds he asked about linked list. After ds he asked about joins and dbms stuff. And gave me a program to write - sum of first 10 odd numbers.
That was my technical interview and after 5 minutes I was in front of hr. One thing is. If there is any question regarding location or shift. Say yes. Even if you are not Comfortable with it. The questions in hr round were on strength, weakness, how you overcome your weakness, where do you see yourself after 5 years, 5 essential.
Qualities a leader must have, are you a good listener etc.
My suggestion to all is. Just be calm. Do not panic. To get in an mnc you need not be an alien. Just be yourself. Remain cheerful. If it is your Day. No one can stop you !
Finally on 13th may, I got my offer letter. And I am placed in cognizant solutions :).
