Hi ! I would like to first of all thank my college, (Sree Visvesvaya Institute of Technology and Science), our Placement officer (Sravan Kumar) and Jawahar Knowledge Center (JKC) for my placement in CTS.
My interview was scheduled on April 26th at CTS office after clearing the OAT (Online Aptitude Test (Analytical and Verbal only).
On the interview day :
There were about 300+ applicants along with via-JKC application at the office. They called randomly for the interview process. One thing at which some of us surprised was that there was JAM session for some batches which they have introduced unintimated for filtering. Fortunately or Unfortunately I was one in the batch with JAM. I have cleared and the next round was Technical Interview.
Technical Interview:
I was asked to introduce myself and some topics like Triggers and Procedures, OOPs, C programs, questions related to Software Development Life Cycle were asked (I am from CSE).
HR was very friendly and no worries. One who is good at industry oriented CSE subjects like C, Software Engineering, DBMS can easily clear Technical.
One more thing the HR wanted to test in me was my PROJECT. There were a lot of questions on my academic project. It is required to be ready with every angle of your academic project (the one written in the resume) and be ready even to write the code if asked.
Else everything was fine.
HR interview was my next round (only after clearing the Technical).
In HR interview the thing is very simple. "Be genuine and Be confident". We need to be confident in answering every question and balanced. I was interviewed by a panel which consisted of two HRMs. Our interest to work in Software Industry must reflect in every answer and in body language.
I didn\'t do the mistake of NOT PREPARING to answer the very common interview questions like : Tell me about yourself, Strengths, Weakness, Why CTS?, Achievements with examples.
So our interest and confidence matters at the end of the day. Once you are on the go the only thing we must be doing is act with confidence.
The result was announced after a week and I got placed.
