CTS Interview Experience - Galgotia College of Engineering and Technology, Greater Noida, 18th April, 2014

Hello guys!
I attended CTS interview on 18th april at Galgotias college of engineering and tech. And I want to share my interview experience with you.
I gave written test through AMCAT on 4th april and then got interview call letter on 14th april.
Written test consisted of 3 sections: (Quant 16 questions - 16 minutes).
Topics covered in my test were - surds, profit and loss, numbers, HCF and LCM, simplification, powers, time and work, permutation and combination.
(Reasoning 14 questions -14 minutes).
Infer passage (2 questions) , coding and decoding, letters-odd out, logic word sequence, data sufficiency (2 questions) , symbolic words Example, if A%B which means A <B and B#c which means B>C, and some problems were like ANDS - SAND, directions, blood relations.
Verbal Ability (25 questions - 25 minutes) - 3 passages each containing 3-4 questions, fill ups, antonyms-2, synonyms-2, select word fill ups like (,).
Guys time management is very important to clear written round! please do online practice as much as you can do to improve your speed.
My technical round was really different I have never imagined that.
Tech interviewer - tell me about yourself.
Me- Told.
Tech interviewer - rate yourself in analytical ability.
Me - Told 8 out of 10.
Then he asked only 4 maths problems which were on time and distance in which I was asked to find the time when the two trains cross each other. 2nd age problem and 3rd was divide 34 into 2 numbers and 4th on ratios.
It was totally different tech. Interview. As many of us learn and rewind our engineering subjects - DBMS, C, C++, SQL, POS, CN but no questions were asked from CSE (my stream) as I was well prepared for that.
Then after 40 minutes they called me for HR round.
Questions were - Tell me about yourself, what will you do if there is no IT industries?
And some other HR basic questions. Then he told me that they will send me an e-mail.
And I am still waiting for my result.
The best part was that - Technical and HR interviewer were very polite :).
I have gone through so many problems even failed so many times but finally a ray of hope i.e. CTS came into my life. Guys be brave! don\'t give up! opportunities has no end they will definitely come to you time to time all is what you need to stay positive and try your best.
