Hi Guys,
CTS organised an Off-Campus Drive at Dev Bhoomi Group Of Institutions on the 12th March 2014.
Online test was easy. Consisted of 2 sections:
A) Reasoning 30 qs - 30 mins.
B) Verbal/English - 30qs - 25mins.
Test is very easy, practising previous years placement papers and presence of mind is enough to crack it.
From 2012/13 batch - 35 candidates were selected from a total of around 400.
Personal Interview was conducted at DIT, Dehradun on the 25th of March.
Technical Interview : Try preparing these, any one programming language, database, software engineering, and Html/css.
The interviewers are lovely persons and very encouraging.
After an introduction I was said to write down 5 topics of my choice.
1) Software Engineering - What is SDLC? Short explanation of each step!
2) HTML/Css/Js - What tags have you used? what tag to use to link a page to another.
3) C/C++ - WAP to add 2 numbers without using \'+\' operator.
4) JAVA - Concept of OOPS.
5) Networking - explain the OSI model! How is it different from the tcp/ip model.
I was asked about the projects I worked on in my previous company and problems I faced (if any) during client handling in my previous company.
If you have few months experience they\'ll ask you about your work in the company else they\'ll ask you about the final year project.
After the results came, we had to wait for some time for the HR.
HR round was just a formality. If you can speak average english you\'ll get selected.
Documents were verified and.
I was asked about what I was doing now.
Why I relocated.
How was the new place better than my hometown! questions like this.
Results were out on the 31st March.
After getting rejected at the HR interview of Accenture, its a relief to finally make it to Cognizant. Looking forward to a great time and Best Of Luck to you guys.
