CTS Interview Experience - 14th March 2014, Vijayawada
I am P. Sri Rama Tejaswini, currently pursuing B-Tech final year CSE in Bapatla Engineering College.
Firstly, I thank to my college and JKC (Jawahar Knowledge Center).
I attended CTS off campus pool drive on 7th March.
The written exam includes 2 sections i.e.
1. Aptitude 2. Verbal.
1st section includes 30 questions which should be answered in 30 min.
It includes the following Topics.
A). Picture puzzles.
C). Number series.
D). Coding and decoding.
E). Seating arrangements etc.
2nd section includes 25 questions which should be answered in 30 min.
A). Sentence corrections.
B). Arrange the sentences in the logical order.
D). Pick the best alternative word etc.
Written exam was simple if we do some practice on model questions and Time management is an important factor.
No negative marks awarded for any question.
After 3 days results were announced. In total 900 students cleared the written test.
On 14th march I attended the interview.
Here I'm explaining my Interview experience.
Me: Good Morning sir.
TR: Good morning. Take your seat.
TR: Write a program 2 interchange two variables without using temporary variable or pointers.
Me: I wrote 1st using temporary variable and then I took some time and wrote the program.
TR: Tell me about yourself and your weakness.
TR: Tell your favorite subjects.
Me: DBMS, CD, C++ and WT.
TR: Now I am not going to ask questions from the subjects you mentioned I'll ask from CO, SE, Networks and OS.
Me: Answered mostly as he asked basics from all the 8 subjects.
TR: He gave me a puzzle n asked me 2 write a program for that?
Me: I somehow managed because I am not able 2 write the logic.
TR: Why CTS?
Me: I told CTS is the top most IT firm currently and I want 2 join in MNC bla bla.
TR: Thank you.
Me: Thank you sir and left the room.
In few minutes I was asked to go 4 HR and I felt elated as I cleared the TR.
HR: Good Morning, I am ____.
Me: Good Morning sir, I am Rama.
HR: Tell me about yourself other than your academics.
HR: Looking at my resume so your hobbies are Dance, Diary writing n solving puzzles fine solve this puzzle.
Me: I took sometime and finally solved.
HR: Fairly good enough.
Me: Thank you sir.
HR: Tell me your weirdest n saddest moment in your B. Tech?
HR: Explain about SDLC and difference between DBMS and RDBMS?
HR: Looking at my resume, oh good you have bagged many prizes in dance?
Me: Yes sir, I like dance very much.
HR: Why CTS?
Me: bla bla.
HR: Do you have any questions?
Me: I asked what kind of projects we should undertake and services you provide bla bla.
HR: He explained n asked do you have any location constraint?
Me: No sir, I am ready to work in any place.
HR: Good, Thank You and shook my hand.
Me: Thank you sir and I left the room.
In a week the results were out and totally 220 members selected and I am one among them, I was overjoyed and felt fortunate enough to be a part of CTS :) :).
