Hi, My name is Sahithi.

I have applied for the CTS through AMCAT.

Written Exam on March 12:

1. English (25 questions).
2. Aptitude (16 questions).
3. Reasoning (14 questions).

Each section has individual time limit.

English-25 questions-25 minutes.

Cut off:15.

I remember some questions, those are.

1. Order the words in ascending manner.

A. Infant.
B. Foetus.
C. Zygote.
D. Adult.
E. Teenage.

Ans: cbaed.

2. Passage on Female foeticide. Another passage is difficult one.

3. Antonym of stern.
Ans: lenient.

I think they asked another 4 antonyms, which I don't remember.

4. Find the synonym for the word i.e. italicized in the sentence.

Given some sentence word i.e italicized is verdict.

I kept the answer as Judgement.

Like above we have 4 questions, I don't remember them all.

And also correction of sentences.

Aptitude-16 questions-16min.

Cut off-12 or 14 (don't remember).

1. Two simple questions on Directions.
2. Simple mixture problem.
3. Time and work problem.
4. Simplifications like 2^256/2^72, something like this (numerical values are not exact).
5. Average.
6. Age and many but very simple, time is precious in aptitude.

Reasoning-14 questions-14min.

Cut off-10.

As I remember they didn't given seating arrangement as it is time taking.

1. Analogy problems are 3-5 questions (very easy).

2. Syllogism-3 questions, these are also simple and easy.

3. Let #-brother.
@-mother.
%-father, this type of question is given.

4. Series completion on alphabets-1 question.

That's all I remember.

Technical Round:

Interview by Two persons, Make direct Eye contact with both the persons (ImPortant).

1. Introduce yourself.
Ans: told and stopped in the middle.

2. Asked about polymorphism.
Ans: Told with an example (try with examples, so that they will be impressed).

3. Regarding Project and my role in it.

4. Multiple Inheritance, Interfaces concepts.

5. Why and what for static?
Ans:Explained with real example.

6. What is CLR in dotnet?
Ans:Told (as I have kept Dotnet in Resume).

7. Garbage collector in dotnet.

8. Why less scored in B-Tech when compared to 10 and 12.

They said Nice to meet you, me told my pleasure.

HR Round:

1. Say about Cognizant.

2. As I am 2012 passed out, what did you done in these 2years?
Ans: I explained.

3. Question from my explanation regarding mobile apps.
Ans:told.

4. Can you relocate?
Ans: I am flexible to work any where.

5. How can you say that?
Ans: I explained about pune experience where I had done my PG diploma, differences between my native and there like languages, food and climate changes and told that I have managed well by getting topped there.

He impressed.

6. Any query?
Ans: I asked about his relation with cognizant.

He told short and sweet.

He told he will get back to me.

I told thank you sir.

Later Document verification.

Told will get the confirmation mail with in a week.

Got mail on 18 March.
