CTS online test pattern Feb 2014
First round was online test which consisted of 2 sections:
1. Analytical 25 questions in 25 minutes.
2. Verbal ability 25 questions in 30 minutes.
No quantitative aptitude section:
Analytical section consists of questions like 2 statements will be given and we have to choose among the options what conclusion we draw from the above statements, data sufficiency, verbal coding and decoding, Table was given and questions were asked on that data like percentage and average etc etc. A series of events were given we had to arrange those events in order of their existence logically.
Tips: Time plays a major role,you can scroll through questions mark some questions for review. My tip is to solve easy questions first. Mark all answers since there is no negative marking. Test will conducted by merittrac pariksha company.
In verbal section: 2 passages will be given: Passages were easy. dont go on reading entire passages.Go through questions first and look for similar terms in passage. My recommendation is to keep passage at the end, but do attend coz it will be easy.Simple preposition use like at, in ,on etc. A set of statements will be given we have to find the incorrect statement or the correct statements in few.
