I got a mail from cognizant for the online test through AMCAT a day before.

When I reached the venue I found a very long line of students (really very long). You just have to show your admit letter to them and they will let you in. After waiting for 5 min we were called in for the test.

When you login you will have to fill up your details like your name, percent etc. After you click start test, read the instructions carefully. They have a timer on everything ticking on the right upper corner. A 1 min timer will be on every page of instructions.

There is no negative marking. It is compulsory to answer every question. Once you mark the answer click on confirm button to save it. Now the bad part, once you click next question you can\'t go back : (so whether or not you are confirm mark the answer at that time only.

Now the test. It has 3 parts.

1) English (24 ques-24min).
2) Quant (16ques-16min).
3) Logic (14ques-14min).

English had 2 medium passages, fill in the blanks, antonyms, synonyms, correcting sentences, rearrange sentences. Level was easy. Try to attempt all the questions fast because time really move fast when you start reading passage.

Quant also was easy. 1 or 2 puzzles were there, train ques, profit n loss, number system, 2 3 question on permutation and combination, partnership.

Logic had question like alphabet series, coding ques, small passages were there and you were supposed to find inferences.

I asked about the result and they told that it will be mailed to us within a week.
