I had a tiresome but wonderful experience yesterday.

I took the cognizant recruitment drive aptitude test last week and got interview call on 7th day. Only one day to prepare I started with C and only revised basics. I am from ECE background so downloaded few viva questions and studies then from edc, mpmc, awp and other basics.

My interview reporting time was 11 am. But due to delay they made me wait till 12 pm.

Then verified my certificates (originals) and collected my resume and told me to wait.

@3 pm after a long wait I was taken for technical round.

It went on like this.

Introduce yourself. Why this company. Why this stream?

And then asked me to write a prog in C including factorial, armstrong number and fibonacci series under one program.

I failed to produce right output on paper. :p.

Then asked about my core concepts about microprocessors and controllers and antennas and frequency ranges. Mostly I fail to answer but was having a continuous conversation on why I couldn\'t answer and so on.

I want told to wait outside and to my surprise I was called for hr round.

I submitted my certis xerox and waited a long time for Hr interview.

@6pm I was called into hr panel.

Only 250/600 candidates were selected from technical round.

HR asked me about my personal life and college life.

Why did I choose to attend interview @CTS and what I know about the company and so on.

After 10 mins told me to leave and wrote remarks do not what he wrote.

I left the room and was informed result will be in a week and will be contacted in a week. Hoping for the best. :D.

Let me see if I get any positive response from the company.

# Overall the atmosphere was good, no tensions anywhere, friendly employees, gave refreshments all the time.
