Hello friends.

I am Rohit Landge.

From Nanded(Maharashtra).

I attended the offcampus drive of cognizant (CTS) held on 6th Dec. At PCCOE, pune.

1) Aptitude Test.

55 questions in 55. Min no neg. Marking.

English-25 q -25. Min.
Maths -16 q- 16 min.
Reasoning-14- 14 min.

As each section had its individual time.

Solving quant in its given time was bit tough.

Here speed matters a lot.

Total 7500+ candidates appeared for the test.

While returning back after the test to my flat,

I got a sms saying you are shortlisted for interview,

I was happy reading it.

In all 200 students were shortlisted out of 7500.

Next day (7th Dec).

The interview process started at 9. Am.

We were told to register names at receptionist.

As 10 technical interview panels were there, accordingly group of 10 students were sent for technical interview.

When I entered in for.

Technical round.

Literally I was sweating, even though.

There was nothing wrong with the air.

Conditioning.

2) Technical round:

1. Introduce your self.
- I introduced.

He overlooked my resume.

2. Which language you think your are perfect in?
- .Net sir.

He then asked some basic questions on .Net.

What is CLR, CLS, compilation process,

Compatibility of .Net with operating system other than windows. Etc.

All basic.

Few questions on C, C++, sql queries.

And a program of palindrome number.

I answered all question except 2.

If you don\'t know the answer accept it, but don\'t try to guess the answers. Be confident while answering.

Prepare your final year project well because max. Questions are based on it and keep your Resume simple and perfect.

Check it carefully so that.

Everything written in it is true and correct.

Don\'t try to Bluff the interviewer.

After my interview I was told to wait for 5 min for the results.

A person with a piece of paper in hand came out of the cabin after few minutes, pointed me & said you are selected for next round.

I thanked him with a happy smiley face, and went to the HR Panel.

3) HR round.

It was not so hard just asked few simple questions.

What I observed is just they ask you few questions to see your confidence,

How fluently you speak, your postures etc.

And hardly 1 or 2 questions on companies information.

You can get it easily if you Google it out.

After the HR round they announced that you will get a mail after 2 or 3 days.

I was waiting for the result, and finally I got the mail of selection on 4th day,

And it was the happiest moment of life.
