Hi Friends,

I will share my experience of Cognizant.Cognizant visited our campus on 25.09.2013 they conducted aptitude test. Then next days technical interview and hr interview.

1. Aptitude Test:

Aptitude test consist of Logical Reasoning and English.
Read R. S. Agarwal and prepare yourself.

2. Technical Interview:

Depend upon your resume and the HR person
As I\'m non-IT branch he didn\'t ask much about C, C++.

Interviewer : Hi. good afternoon,
Me : Hi sir. good afternoon.

Interviewer : Your native is chennai?
Me : No actually for studying I came here.

Interviewer : Being an non-IT candidate he gave me a problem in my area of interest ?
Me : Solved.

Interviewer: Explain about your project?
Me: Said.

(He asked all possible question in my project it took around 20 min)

Interviewer: Gave me a puzzle that abcd is distinct numbers when multiplied by a    single digit number e we should get reverse of the no (ie) abcd*e=dcba??
Me: actually i dunno the answer some how tried to change the topic to c reversal program then he asked me to write reversal program as i already prepared wrote .

Interviewer : Why should I hire you?
Me : Said.

Interviewer : He read my resume and asked about in-plant training?
Me : Said.

(NEXT FEW QUESTIONS FROM MY RESUME ABOUT MY EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES ETC )

At last.

Interviewer: Do you want to ask any question?
Me: Asked him and he replied.

Then the Interviewer asked to wait for next round.

(BE CONFIDENT IN YOUR ANSWER)

3. HR Interview:

In this they will check your communication skills, attitude and confidence level.
This round will take place not more than 5 minutes.

In this round common question like:

1) Introduce about yourself?
2) Why should I hire you?
3) What is your major subject?
4) What are the qualities need for leadership skills?

will be asked.
