Placement Papers - CTS

Hey guys,

I am here to share about my interview experience at cognizant. CTS visited MIT campus on 13th and 16th. Prior to it they also conducted a mock campus drive to equip the students with the process. The min aggr required was 55% and 2 live k.ts were allowed.

Selection process was as follows:

1. Online test:

It consisted of logical reasoning and verbal ability questions (no quant).

Just practice those sections from Indiabix and you will do just fine.

2. Technical interview:

The interviewer looked over my resume once and asked me questions regarding the academic projects that I had mentioned.

I explained everything (about 3 projects in web development and 1 seminar paper) with diagrams and fair use of technical words. He was impressed.

After I finished he asked me if I can write my project code in C/C++. I said yes and explained how.

Then he asked about diff between C and C++, inheritance and polymorphism. It lasted for 15-20 mins.

I got through the tech round and was called for HR.

3. HR interview:

The HR mam was calm and collected and very friendly. She asked about my family background, etc. Then about what I know about the company, why would I like to join the company, about my grades which were less in esp in 2nd yr, am I considering odr offers etc. It lasted for just over 10 mins. At the end she said shez hoping that I will kip up with my good grades as in 3rd yr, which was like an indicator that I got selected.

So just be confident, happy and take the situation under your control.
