Hi I attended CSC interview in Noida on 12 October 2015.
There were 4 rounds:
1. Hr.
2. Technical and Aptitude Test.
3. Technical interview.
4. Hr Interview.
So in the first round we were given a topic and we have to speak for 2 minutes. Mine was Gandhi was made leader or born leader. It is an easy round. If you are confident and speak good English this round will be your easiest one.
Then the Aptitude and Technical test offline test. Aptitude was easy. But technical test was difficult. As I m from Electronics and Communication background, maybe it was difficult for me. There were 90% questions from CS/IT field and remaining 10% from Electronics. So if you are not from CS/IT branch, better be prepared.
Then it was technical round. Questions he asked were:
Tell me about yourself.
Program on palindrome in C++ or java.
Layers of OSI model with function.
Difference between connection less and connection oriented protocols?
Cloud computing.
OOPS concepts.
What is abstraction?
What is encapsulation?
Difference between Linux and Windows.
What is Unix?
What is Kernel?
Basic general questions like latest android version, latest Windows.
The interviewer was nice to me. So I was not puzzled anywhere.
Last in HR interview, she asked me about my family background.
Are you having any other offer in hand?
Are you ready to relocate?
She discussed about how much they are going to pay me.
Just that I cleared all the rounds and after two days I got a letter from CSC on my mail to submit my confirmation.
CSC is a fortune 500 company. Being a non-IT student, I was very much happy and I find myself very lucky to start with such a good IT firm.
So give your best shot, you will not get a second chance.
