Hello Everyone,
I am G. Sai Prakash, Computer Science and Engineering student at Vishnu Institute of Technology(VIT), Bhimavaram.
Recently I have attended a campus drive conducted by CSC at B.V. Raju institute of Technology(BVRIT), Narsapur, Hyderabad.
Now I would like to share my experience with you, which I had during the interview.
The Interview process is started at 9:00 am with the introduction of recruitment team. The interview process consists of four rounds.

Written Test :

The written test is for 100 questions along with one Essay. Remember CSC written is completely paper based test. Question paper will be given to you and we have to mark the answers in answer sheet. We have to complete it in 1 hour. The questions include aptitude, verbal and Technical.
Aptitude questions are of 40 questions, all are normal level not much harder, the questions are asked on time & work, parallel lines & angles, ratios & proportion. Practicing in www.IndiaBix.com is more than enough.
Verbal is not at all a matter in CSC written test. Only six questions are asked from verbal. One or two synonyms and remaining are asked on arrange the jumbled sentences in a right order.
Technical section is of 60 questions, it is very important section as well as easy to score more marks. But one should aware of the topics asked and should be well prepared. The questions are asked from DBMS, OS, JAVA & C, UNIX (pointing out the errors in the program & what\'s the output for the given program). some are related to electronics, but I\'m not familiar with those topics :P up to me better to score more marks in your core topics.
Finally the essay topics are like, "Hardwork or luck which plays major role", "Reality shoes". "Gandhiji is a born leader or made". We have to choose one of the topics and asked to write in backside of answer sheet with more than 150 words. Don\'t waste much time here.
We have to complete all these sections within 1 hour. So one should have to be use time effectively and answer all the questions as there is no negative marks. More than 350 students have taken the test, 144 students were cleared the written.

Group Discussion:

Students who have cleared the written are divided into 12 groups by the recruitment team. Each group consists of 12 members and asked to gather at one place for Group Discussion. All the groups are waiting to participate, mine is group 5. After some time they made a call to our group. All of us are entered into the room and have seated according to the numbers assigned to us. All are looking at the interviewer for the discussion topic. He smiled at us and asked, say any topic of our choice you people would like to discuss. Some of us are discussed and said that sir, topic is "Hardwork Vs luck".
He asked what is the reason of choosing that topic. They said sir, it is topic given for us in the written test as essay writing. Then he laughed and said NO choose any other topic. Then we have decided to discuss about SWACH BHARAT. He agreed for that and said let us start the Discussion.
Immediately I took up the initiative and started "Friends Swach Bharat is a great mission launched by Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India. The main purpose of this mission is to bring the change in every citizen at cleaning their primises......If this continues within a short time we will see a "Clean India" and then one of us group members took up the continuation and this continues for 15 minutes and one have taken the conclusion.
After that Interviewer read out some members and said that you people are eliminated and can leave for the day. Then he said to us that some of the people have no patience of listening at others, this is the main drawback of your group. So friends my suggestion for you is Don\'t try to dominate the others all the time. The main quality one should have in Group Discussion round is Patience. First of all listen what the others are saying and then respond to them.
Finally the students who were cleared the GD round are asked to wait for Technical round.

Technical Round:

After some time it\'s my turn to attend the Technical Round. I opened the door. After taking my seat, interviewer make a glance at my resume and started the interview.
Sir : Hello Sai Prakash how are you ?
Me : Fine sir.
Sir : How is your internship ?
Me : (Told about the purpose of my intern and mentioned about the work and the applications that I have done during my intern upto date).
Sir : In which Technology you are interested ?
Me : Java sir.
Sir : Tell me some java concepts that you are interested ?
Me : Swings, Applets sir. I am also interested in working with JDBC and explained about my project that I have done with swings and JDBC.
Sir : Tell me about your mini projects (He asked some questions on my projects and the technologies that I have used in my projects).
Me : Sir, I have done three Mini Projects during my 3rd year B.Tech. (gave a brief explanation about all my projects for five minutes).
Sir : If we will not include you in java projects in our company, will you work for us ?
Me : Yes sir, I have a keen interest at java and at the same I am enthusiased at learning new technologies.
Sir : Ok leave about java. Are you ok with data structures ?
Me : Yes sir.
Sir : Tell me about stacks and queues ?
Me: Told about stacks and queues and explained the differences with an example.
Sir : Write a program to push and pop elements from the stack ?
Me : Wrote and explained how it works.
Sir : (Asked some questions on my achievements that I have mentioned in my resume ,that I have participated in TCS coding contest).
Me : Explained about the contest and rounds that I have faced.
Sir : (Asked about my blog that I have mentioned in my resume as Extra Curricular activities).
Me : Yes sir I am maintaining a blog from past one and half year "findpctricks.blogspot.in"
Sir : Interesting.
Sir : Ok Sai Prakash. Everything is fine, by the way you have cleared your Technical Round.
Me : Thank you sir.
Sir : Do you have any questions for me ?
Me : (Asked about training period and the Technologies provided for freshers to work).
Sir : You can leave now... :)
Me : Thank you sir... :)
Friends, almost all the questions that I have faced during the interview is completely based on my Resume. So build your resume carefully. Answer all the questions confidently even if you are sure about the answer or not.
Prepare any two topics of your choice and be confident on that and be able to answer any question on that topic. Don\'t stop answering the question until he interrupted, extend your answer and better try to explain with examples.
Try to impress the interviewer by showcasing your unique things by your achievements and Extra Curricular activities. Maintain smile on your face till the end of interview. It expresses your interest and positiveness.

HR Round :

At-last it\'s the time to attend HR interview. I am very confident, may be because of knowing that I have cleared the technical.
My HR interview is done very simply, all the questions asked by HR are "yes" or "no" questions.
Me : May I come in sir ?
Sir : Yeah come in. Hello Sai Prakash please take your seat.
Sir : How are you ?
Me : Good sir.
Sir : What is your goal ?
Me : My goal is to become a Project Manager and to be in a good position in software industry sir.
Sir : In which field you are interested to work ?
Me : Java sir.
Sir : Do you like to work at any place ?
Me : Yes sir.
Sir : Do you like to work on night shifts ?
Me : Yes sir.
Sir : Ok Tell me about your personal details ?
Me : Told for few minutes and asked sir, shall I go with my family details.
Sir : No, not necessary.
Sir : Ok Sai Prakash you are done for the day ... :) you may leave now.
Me : Thank You sir... :)
The HR interview is completed at around 9:00 pm and waiting for results to be announced. My suggestions is answer all the questions by maintaining smile on your face and speak loudly and clearly. Definitely you\'ll get through.
Friends this is my first interview experience and these are all the questions that I have faced during my interview process. I hope this will be useful as a part of your preparation for placements. Be confident all the time never give up.
Everyone has a day to prove yourself, the only thing you can do is wait for the day to come. Put up your maximum effort and give your best. Don\'t relax keep on going... All the best :)
