Hi everyone I attended the CSC campus drive on 22 Sept 2014 in my College.
It started with a orientation program. The full procedure includes 3 rounds.
1. Written test:
The written test includes 3 sections.
The first section was of aptitude and logical reasoning. There were 40 questions in this section.
The next section was the technical one which includes the questions from C C++ Java dbms and basic electronics and digital electronics. The electronics questions were easy but as a ECE student programming part were difficult but be prepared with basic output questions from C. See previous year papers.
The next section was of the essay 4 topics were given and any one topic was to be chosen. The topics were " should reality shows be banned?", " Changes are the only constant in our lives", and two more.
The overall time allotted was of 90 mins. There were no negative markings. Attempt all questions and be fast.
I did all the questions and after 45 min the results were announced and I was selected.
2. Technical Interview:
The next round was of the technical interview I was asked to introduce myself then was asked about the previous sem subjects. The major focus was on the project. Being a ECE student I was asked about VLSI, projects in VLSI, lab work done till date in VLSI. I answered all the questions regarding these topics. Then I was asked about basic SQL querries join- inner and outer join.(Points from resume were asked).
3. HR Interview:
The next round was of HR interview. It was most friendly and easy round. The most important thing is "BE YOU" and "KEEP SMILING". The first question was how was your day. Then he asked how do you manage all these things (after seeing my academic scores). Then asked why CSC. Tell me about your kindergarden days. Tell me about your family. How was TCS interview. Why not selected. If have offer letter from TCS and CSC which one you would choose and why? What are your favorite dishes. But if posted in Chennai then will not get all these what will you do. Ready to relocate and comfortable in night shifts. Any questions.
It took whole day but was exciting day and finally got selected. !
