Hello Friends...

    Its my pleasure to share my experience with u all..few days back i was reading the post from other placed students...that time i had already sitted for some cmpny like infosys (ON- only aptii taken no interview),syntel & lnt but couldn,t able to clear the aptii ....guys.

I was unprepared so harrased...what to do?

Then I came to know that we hav 2 go for another off campus drive at gnit kolkata.....on 3rd of march.

Company name : CMC Ltd

Procedure:

1. 100 words statememt y u want 2 join cmc/
2. aptitude.
3. technical aptitude.
4. technical interview.
5. HR.

I decided to only prepare 4 those things in which i can sure do well...n the main hurdle
not only 4 me bt 4 most of my colleague is the aptitude...so i only went through some selected portion n remain calm at every instant of time...i ilready accepted that there is no chance....

I spent more time on internet....indiabix.com to chk my preparation...
a day before i drunk bhaang (not suggesting u 2 do the same)....n next morning we went 2 klkta...

We all students after reaching klkta went to a local place called sodhpur near to sealdah station....we didnt fond any place to change our dresses....but we manage it at that sodhpur station..,,,n then we approached 2 gnit college....

We there waited 4 smtme n then allowed 2 enter in the premises....

then everything started......

1st A HR frm the cmpny started giving presentation..........

During the presentation we all came to know that we\'ll be going 4 online test...n all ece & ee students have 2 give one more departmental aptitude exam..as i m frm ece this news make me feel bad..bt i didnt thought even a single secnd 4 it..as i was only thinking abt the aptii which i m not able 2 clear even once n not the technical one......HR told the aptii has three section:-
1.quant
2.eng
3.reasoning.

one thing that give me pleasure that there is no sectional cutoff.....i think that was the most crucial thing y i cleared this aptii frnds...also there is -ve marking a bonus at least 4 me at this stage.....

at that moment i decided not to touch english portion as i was unprepared.....


at last aptii started....oooo my planning got suddenly tampered when i saw the quant sectn....the difficulty level was so high.......i started sawing English portion n i found it quite hand able ,,,syllogism was in quantity n i prepared them nicely,,,so i reverted n after doing a single correct ques in quant sec i moved to English sec.....i attempted almost all as i know it was my last chance...n then i attempted all ques in reasoning sec...they were easy guys....

there r above 700 students from across 10 colleges..

after this we all students waited around 1hr in a hall...i was not sure that if i\'ll make it or not...as i attempted English sectn n i was nt sure abt their correctness...i got sleepy sitting in the hall...suddenly the HR came n announce that they hv selected around 80 students after first round......HR said after calling their names shortlisted please remain seated in the hall but others quickly leave the campus...i prayed to god that my name will b there anywhere in the 80 students list........but wooooo my name had been called just after 1st one...ooooh i was 2nd in the list.....i feel very relaxed after hearing my name......thanx to god n my luck that most of the ques i attempted in eng secn goes correct which i doubt earlier.....

frnds i want to say luck is an important factor but ur courage will decide ur fate sometime also dont forget...

after this we ece student pass through 2 technical aptii:-
1.c,c++
2.microprocessor & embedded system


i cleared one by one all .........frnds quesn assked were simple n direct n common...i recently prepared the c language thoroughly...this helps me....but moreover i know it is my day where luck favouring me at every point of time...


frnds u need 2 b alert only.......i think i was the most alert person in the hall...i dont know y i was behaving so but whtever was the matter result is coming in my way... 


its 8 pm already.....n after these 3 test we all around 30 students had been told that we have to report back on 10.03.2011 in the same campus....


we all leave the college.... i bent down outside the campus n happily say thanx to the environment there.....i was very happy going back 2 my college imps malda...


On 10 of same month i came back 4 interviews with same enthusiasm as earlier.......
i was well dressed with a tie ....shoes well polished...shaved properly.

in tech interv -they ask me ques frm
1.my final yr project.
2.basic electronics...voltmeter,ammeter working..
3.power amplifirs..
4.embedded system...
5.y u want to join our cmpny...
etc
these all goes around for 20 min...


in interviws frnds the only thing they r searching in u is ur eagerness to get the job.. alwys keep in mind.


after clearing tech interview i called for HR interview.
two HR\'s were there they harassed me around 1 hr...but i didnt loose my control n remain calm.......


frnds keep ur cool with ur alertness in HR..

after HR we have been told that result will be announce on next morning.so i came back to malda..



after one week results r sent to our email id ......lastly 22 student were selected out of 700....i m happy that i m one among those 22 students.. it became the best experience of my life n only due to this i m feeling good..


i wish all the best 4 my juniors or aspirants......be +ve n go with plan...acquire the right attitude success will chase u definately...
