Placement Papers - Caritor

Hi Friends I got placed in CARITOR last Jun 2005..
 
This is the general pattern followed in all colleges as far as I enquired
 
First Round : Apty
Second : Comprehension writing
Third : GD
4th : Tech Interview
5th : HR Interview
 
They\'l separate all the candidates as IT n NON IT
CSE, IT , ECE come under IT
EEE, MECH, ICE & E&I etc under NON IT

For NON IT 45 apty ques (mostly from agarwal very simple ones) 45 mins time wit no -ve marking

For IT there are two choices either Apty with C or Apty with C++.. U can choose any one.. one hour is the time duration for IT 30 from apty n 30 from C or C++..
 
But better to choose C.. The questions are mostly from "Test your C Skill" by Yashwant Kanetkar.
 
After Apty thr\'l b pre placement talk wit ppt.. watch tht carefully..
for ur comprehension writing it\'l b more useful as that round deals wit things related to caritor shown in ppt.. (For more info go thro\' cari website also)
 
Then for GD mostly they\'l ask to choose own topic..
But for me the topic was "Is mobile Phone necessary for student community"
some other topics were..
"Late Nyt Outings Correct r Wrong"
"Alternate Sources of Energy etc"
 
Then Tech interview .,
Only from C n C++..
Each n every line of ur resume wil b questioned.. whatever words u use in resume b thorough with its meaning..
Fib n Fact wit recursion pgms mostly asked n division with using / etc..
(for my frnds palindrome, swap were asked)
 
Then HR.. Once u clear Tech u can b pretty confident of entering the company as they\'l check ur communication skills alone.. Then they\'l talk mostly bout relocating urself to Banglore. None were rejec from HR in our colleg.. Thts it..
