Capgemini Interview Experience - Ghaziabad & 5 September, 2017
In the online test it consists of two rounds.
First one is aptitude+essay writing round.
The aptitude round consists of two sections.
Each sections consists of 16 questions. You get 50 minutes for 32 questions in between you can change the sections which you want to do first.
In quantitative section questions were easy but 3-4 questions were tricky and calculations were lengthy.
Questions were mainly asked from averages, time and distance, percentage, profit and loss, SI and CI, quadratic equation, probability, time and work.
In logical reasoning the questions were easy. The topics that were asked were number series, logical deductions, blood relations, paper folding and cutting, coding decoding, symbols and notations.
Some questions are as follows:
1) If ALMOST is decoded as OZLNZH in a certain language than what will be the code for ANIMATED?
2) Find the missing term: 5 10 16 ? 31 40
The next important round was essay writing round. Here You should be clear about the punctuation, grammar and most importantly typing speed. I'm sure you able to do aptitude easily but the chances of elimination occurs mostly in essay writing. You must have to type the essay with given number of words(200-240 words). Half an hour time is given to write an essay.
Some of the essay topics that were asked are:
1) Atleast one form of physical education should be compulsory in schools.
2) Higher education will completely move to online educaion.
3) Social media has made us less social.
4) Success comes to those who takes risk.
5) Knowledge from experience is more useful than books.
6) Violent video games affecting children.
7) People are more materialistic than satisfied.
8) Progress is always good.
9) Is intelligence inborn or can be nurtured through learning.
After clearing the first round comes the pseudo code round in that round questions related to C language, data structures and digital logic design were asked.
20 questions were asked in 20 minutes.
