CapGemini Interview Experience - Bangalore, 25th January 2017
Capgemini test comprises of basic aptitude paper having 32 questions (16 quants and 16 logical reasoning) and the time limit is 50 minutes.This section is easy to crack if you have clear basics of aptitude. Just practice from online websites like IndiaBix and M4maths.Next follows essay writing where you need to be correct with your spellings and grammar.
Remember one thing cutoff is high so try to correct atleast 26-28 questions in written round.
Quants: Time and work, distance time speed, ages problem, HCF LCM and number systems.
Reasoning: blood relations, syllogism, odd man out, series, etc.
Next comes technical round which is purely based on your luck. Just be careful with your CVs because the interviewer will directly ask from your CVs and for CSE/IT candidates do prepare basic programs and keep your basic subjects well prepared. Total nearly 2200 students came for the written at SJBIT, Bangalore on 25th January and 300 people were called for tech round and it was organized in 3 days with 100 students each day.
My Technical round went as follow:
Me: May I come in sir?
Int: Yes, please and have your seat. So Arnab please introduce yourself and say something about your family and culture.
Me: Answered with continuous smile because it's a good weapon.
Int: So Arnab, Java is your favourite subject, please write a simple code to reverse your own name.
Me: Wrote correctly.
Int: Can you implement bubble sort to sort out 4 numbers.
Me: Shown and he was happy.
Int: Now lets come to your project, explain the basic concept and idea and its purpose in real life.
Me: Explained him with level1 DFD and also stated its usefulness, now the fun started, he started making situation based questions and basically he was watching my confidence and patience.
Int: Ok Arnab, thanks for your time. You may wait outside.
So my technical round was over and I was happy and after 30 minutes. My name was called for HR.
Total 110 candidates cleared the Tech round.
Now comes the HR round and it's basically formality and they checks your communication and body language and If they are happy with your performance they will make sign you on an EAF papers (Employment application paper). Total 95 students were selected and I am also selected.
