Capgemini Interview Experience - Kolkata & 5th October 2016
Capgemini held 3 rounds for campusing.
1) Aptitude & Essay writing round.
2) Technical Interview.
3) HR.
There are two parts in the aptitude round namely quantitative and analytical. There is no sectional time limit. 16 quant and 16 analytical questions. Questions were easy to moderate though we had used much of the time in the analytical round so the quanti round had to be completed fast. We were then directed to the essay round. My topic was In-Store shopping vs Online shopping. It had to be completed in 350 words with a minimum of 300 words to be used in 30 minutes. Other topics were also easy. 160 students from my college sat for the test and only 28 cleared the first round and I was lucky to be selected.
The very next day we had our Technical and HR. First we were shown a presentation about working in Capgemini and it was very impressive and we all got to know from the people working there how good working environment Capgemini has. We had our Technical round after that. The interviewer asked me simple questions on basic electronics and from my CV. Please prepare from your CV very well. He even asked me questions from my family background and my school life. He asked me everything from my CV. It went very well.
We then had our HR round. Mine was very good. Ma'am asked me about my skills and why I wanted to join Capgemini. They really see how good your communication skills are. Prepare well on your English speaking skills. They ask very tricky questions in HR but nothing tough. They just want to check how smart and confident you are.
The results were announced after 2 days. Only 18 got selected and I was one of them. Capgemini is a very good company and I'm happy to become a part of it.
