Capgemini Interview Experience - NIT Raipur, 3rd and 4th October
******* 1st Round Online Test- Conducted by Aspiring Minds.
1) Logical Reasoning - 12 questions (14 mins).
=> Level- Very Easy.
=> Includes Non-verbal Reasoning, Series Completion, Analogies, Coding and Decoding.
2) English Comprehension 15 questions (16 min).
=> Level- Moderate.
=> Includes Antonyms and Synonyms, Reading Comprehension, Sentence Correction, Sentence Formation.
3) Competency Check (30 min).
It was a Situational Judgement Test. A situation was given and 4 solutions as an option and we need to choose which one will be best case and which will be the worst case according to us and second type of question in this section were we were given six tasks and we have to decide the priority accordingly in order of completion.
4) Computer Programming- 12 questions (15 min).
=> Level- Easy.
=> Includes basics of C, data structure and algorithms.
There was sectional cut off for 1st Round and I would recommend if you can go through the Aspiring Minds study material it would be definitely helpful as many questions were from their material only.
Nearly 70 out of 100 people were shortlisted for next round i.e Interview Round.
******* 2nd Round Technical Interview:
- What is the difference between C++ and Java?
- Multiple inheritance.
- How can we achieve multiple inheritance in Java?
- Questions related to classes and multiple inheritance.
- Polymorphism, difference between overloading and overriding.
- Puzzle: connect 9 dots in arranged in 3*3 matrix with 4 straight lines.
- Exception handling.
- Why is exception handling used?
- About Projects and your role in that.
Being an Electronics & Telecommunication Student I was asked JAVA and OOPS, so I would advice to go through your Projects and Resume thoroughly and do not write things you are not confident in.
And most importantly whatever you answer in interview, answer it confidently, in my case the interviewer was trying to puzzle me out with the wrong answer but have confidence in you and stick to what you answer.

- Why Capgemini should hire you, 2 points.
