Capgemini Interview Experience - Kakinada Feb 14&15, 2016

Hi guys.

I have attended for Capgemini on Feb 14 & 15.

They made maximum rejections in the written exam only.

I have attended through COCUBES and the exam is not so difficult, having good practice in aptitude, logical reasoning and minimal English like synonyms, replacements, passages etc., is enough you don't need to make max out of it just practice before the exam.

Total three rounds:

1. Written.
2. Group discussion.
3. Personal interview (Technical review + Human resource).

For Group discussion, guys you need to be confident those Capgemini. HR's are looking for the most confident guys.

GD: 50% rejection.

We are 13 people we went and sat inside the hall HR was busy in shortlisting the candidates who done their GD previously.

After a couple of mins, he wished good morning and asked us "IS INDIA HAVING A FRIENDLY RELATION WITH PAKISTAN?". Every one said "NO".

HR: Well today this will be your topic for GD.


He gave us 2 minutes time and opened it for discussion.

Guys remember they going to check your patience our GD has lasted for 25 mins.

People who gave 3 or more valid points with good fluency and body language have made it for next rounds.

Guys, please try not to interrupt others because a guy made 8 attempts, but in fact he interrupted many guys in the GD and he was rejected.

Totally 6 out of 13 are sent for next round from our panel.

Personal Interview:

ME: May I come in sir?
HR: Please give me 2 mins time.
ME: Ok sir, sure.

I have waited even more than 2 mins and HR came up to the door and called me. I thought it was a bad sign as I made HR to come out of his seat.

ME: Soon after going inside I gave my application with resume and wished him,                    

HR: He looked at his wristwatch and then its 12:15 PM. And he wished me good afternoon, please take your seat, tell me something about yourself. I told him.

He asked about my family, their profession, my siblings details too.

ME: Said that my brother in law is working of CA technologies.

HR: Then why did you come here there is no job in CA?
ME: I briefed him about Capgemini and said I want to make it for Capgemini for those reasons only. (he is satisfied with my answer).

HR: What will you do if you are not selected in this interview?
ME: Explained.

HR: He saw my hobbies and asked who is your favourite cricketer and why?
ME: Told him briefly.

HR: Compare yourself with your favourite cricketer in your career and life?
ME: I took some time and finally gave a 70% good answer but he's not pleased.

HR: You are having 75%, I have seen your friends having 80's then why should I select you?
ME: Explained and guys please make sure you should not make others bad in any movement praise yourself but don't lower others.

HR: Tell me about C++.
ME: Explained it basically they will just see the basic knowledge of you they don't want deep answers from you.

HR: Is C or C++ advantageous and why?
ME: I gave a wrong answer. He corrected me saying many companies follow C, its better. Next he is asked my family details and asked parents income and make sure you don't
lie because at any point they you might be caught!!

HR: Any questions for me?
ME: I asked randomly 5 questions and with lot of patience he answered me all those. Guys please don't leave this question ask some thing that is related to you and the company this gives a very good impression on you.

HR: Ok good job man!! Good luck.
ME: Thank you sir!

After 15 days, finally 4 of us made for Capgemini.
