Capgemini Interview Experience - Hyderabad, Dec 18, 19, 20 2015
Capgemini Placement drive pattern.
1) Written Test.
2) Group discussion.
3) TR + HR.

- Cocubes assessment Capgemini placement test.
- 75 questions.
- English + Reasoning including DI and Data sufficiency + Quant.
- NO negative marking.
1) English is very easy, be familiar with synonyms, antonyms, fill in the blanks of appropriate words, reading comprehension, prepositions, article, sentence correction, basic grammar, etc.
2) Analytical reasoning, DS and DI, series completion, coding and decoding, blood relations, puzzle test, decision making, statements-arguments, statement assumptions, statements-course action, statement-conclusions, question-statements, series, syllogisms, data sufficiency, etc.
Data interpretation 2 flowchart questions asked carries around 8 - 10 questions. Don't
expect the same for you.
Functions***, time, speed, distance and work***, train problems, partnership**, pipes&cisterns**, profit&loss***, percentages***, Si and CI**, Mensuration***, Geometry***, Alligation and mixtures*, P&C*, Ages***, Numbers***, Series***, Averages**, etc.
Work hard on only these topics, so that you may cover around 15-20 questions in each section easily.
It is the Main Screening Test in Capgemini. If you give better performance in GD, There will be 90% of getting hired for Capgemini.
Mostly there are 13, 14, 15 members in each group.
The topics will be very familiar, that everyone can speak. Trust me if you speak you will get the job.
In our group 14 members have shortlisted for GD.
The topic given to us is "Impact of social Media on Human Life". Every one of my team spoke very well and we enjoyed it very much. Be specific to your topic given, try to speak according to the situation in Gd, If you're familiar with the topic you may initiate the topic, before initiation you have to say about yourself and greet every one in the GD and Start. If you are not familiar with the topic, try take some time until you understand the topic, be attention to every one, try to make some questions in your discussion, eye contact, try to speak for 2 mins and if chance speak twice or thrice. But Remember if you speak you will get the job. Be cool. Tension is the failure in the group discussion.
At last, From our group 7 members have shortlisted for TR+HR round. I am the one in that group.
The interview panel has both TR+HR round.
Concentrate on some Puzzle questions for Interview, most of Interviewers will see your presence of Mind. Be spontaneous, don't try to bluff, Be specific about your Project Works and yours Skills, Don't expect the question Tell me about yourself first, They may give some puzzle question to do. Try to do, But don't act as you know the question very well, be frank if you don't know about the question. Everyone had interviewed around 30-50 mins. Give in detail about yourself, about your skills, extra curricular activities, your achievements, your passion, and some technical questions are asked for some of them, prepare some technical concepts related to your field.
Me:- Hello sir, Very Good Morning. (Don't say HI, It is informal)
Sir:- Good Morning. (He gave me a task to do)
Sir:- Take this paper, do something with that, even you can crush are you can make an art, you can use the pen, but you should not write any thing on the paper. Take 5 mins of time. And you have to explain me why you have done that and what is the reason behind it.
Me:- Okay sir, It's very easy for me. I need only 30 seconds. I did a rocket and given.
Sir:- What is this? and (he seen my profile and said oh your from aeronautical okay)
Me:- I explained him the reason and gave my details about what I have done in B.Tech graduation, about my projects, my skills, Extra curricular activities, Non technical activities, Every thing I put in front of Interview. I have took around 15 -20 mins.
While you explaining your project be straight and take it seriously as giving a presentation, eye contact, mannerisms, audible, applications etc. Don't hesitate to say about your extracurricular activities, It will added advantage. Feel free to face the interview and also I have praised about new project of Capgemini, to prove that I have some knowledge regarding that project and I am very interested in joining with the company.
Sir:- You have strong knowledge in your core side then why toward IT?
Me:- Till now I haven't encountered any kind of programming skills till now as I am from aeronautical background. If in case these programming fell into my scope I am ready to do.
Sir:- I was very impressed on you and you have a great knowledge. As I friend I suggest you to go in that track, as Capgemini I can drag into the company. But Okay, any questions.
ME:- Do you want to give me any suggestions sir?
Sir:- Yeah I have given you already before. Okay Nice meeting you Kishore.
Me:- Thank you sir :)
Try to ask even one question.
He only see your commitment to the work you have done, your hard work, your skills, your attitude, way you are presence.
After Four days results came. I have selected. So every one, The Capgemini Drive will be very easy one, if you clear written and even that is also easy. Believe in you. Stay positive. All the Best. Hope this content will help you.
