Placement Papers - Capgemini

Hi all,

I attended Capgemini off campus interview conducted at M.E.S Engineering College, Aluva, Kerala. It took two days for the entire process. The first round was APTITUDE ROUND conducted by COCUBES. There were three sections.

Analytical- Statement & conclusions, logical Reasoning, flowcharts, data sufficiency,    coding-decoding, series.

Verbal- Comprehension, grammar, sentence correction, synonyms, antonym, spellings, Idioms and phrases.

Quantitative aptitude - Profit loss, time work, simple interest, area and volume etc etc. 25 questions in each section. There was NO negative marking. we can attempt any section in any order. All sections can be accessed throughout the test. I attempted verbal and then analytical and then quants. Questions were of moderate level but easy enough to meet the cut off.

Second round was GD. We were asked to decide our own topic. Our group consisted of 13 students. The topic which we selected was, internet a boon or a bane. Nearly 5 students were selected from our group. Try to speak relevant points instead of diverting from the topic
interview was held the next day. HR asked very general questions about family, academics etc. Then asked me to write a C program to find the smallest number from an array. (since I am an ECE student I had not much idea about it but then I said I will explain the logic). Then he asked me some puzzles and questions on SETS (union, intersection etc) and certain hypothetical questions based on certain situations. Interview lasted for about 20 min. Results were mailed the next day and by god\'s grace I was selected too.

Just be confident throughout. Whatever you answer, answer with full confidence.
